I too got excited a couple weeks back and added F-Retro G3 to Cars of AMS2 already. It's obviously based on what we can derive from the little info we got .

 

That 1985 made me wish for those years back.....what has happened to us? I'm not going to post any pics...I think you know what I mean.

Newest layouts are a joy to drive....more fun than I imagined in the much improved cars. Thanks heaps team, enjoy those beers for a while.

Hi, all.
I am curious about the CSL DD wheel bases, and also the Simajic Alpha mini.
1: Do you own either of these wheels or have any thoughts , feedback, impressions, suggestions etc.

I see you have 1. I take it from your question that you have to currently set it up as a custom wheel? any thoughts appreciated on the unit.

Have my CSL DD 8Nm for little over a month now. Brilliant little thing. Due to almost no games having support for it right now, Fanatec added a CSW2.5 compatibility mode so I didn't have to do anything special aside for setting the wheel in compatibility mode and as a CSW2.5 ingame and keybinding things my way.

 

When I run the CSL DD it is in Comp 2.5 mode. If you are wanting to make the move to a Direct Drive then this is defintely the best entry point. I purchased the Podium DD at release and absolutely love it. The CSL DD surprised me and pacls a bigger punch then the package would lead you to believe but I would for sure buy the booster kit for the 8nm.

Seems a no brainer for me (g29), but the s/majic also has appeal just the price of their wheels to fit puts me off. CSL is due in meantime, (long wait!)
