Great that it is working now and that is a good info for me. I will check if all relevant data is available in UDP mode and if yes I can maybe add support for the UDP mode, too.

I'm sorry, your plugin don't have an installation file.

    @TronLi
I added support for the UDP Mode now, maybe you want to test if it is working:

    Hi All,
I rewrote and added information from Viper's plugin, which I found most useful for Brake Lock.
I also changed my own custom effect, which is now sway only, because Viper's Brake lock effect is better :)
I also added Ragesaq profiles from pedal motors adapted to shakers.
Overall I really like the effect, made me enjoy using my shakers again.
Tested mostly with JCW mini at brands hatch Indy, and the F3 at Spielberg.
You will have to alter volumes, frequencies and gamma curves to suit your shakers.
I suggest you dont play with the calculations unless you are really sure.
Please let me have any feedback.
    Thx Rangey

A new effect is now possible with the changes to SimHub to allow calculated frequency for the output. So here is a shaker profile for braking that uses wheel rps as the base frequency, and the amount of slip from vipers plugin.

Thanks for sharing. The rear slip is really good run through my pedal haptics. Better than what I was using (Viper Plugin). Can't comment on the front slip and under/over steer. Having all 3 of those effects on the same pedal at once is not good.

    Hi Mate,
I suggest you use the version in post #67, this is the latest version.

That is correct. When you import them into Simhub, it will create a separate profile with just these effects. You can then copy and paste them into your existing profiles with all your other effects.

Trying to to wrap my head around this and dial it in for my pedal Rumble motors (3dRap 1x Gas and 1x Brake) and my NLR HF8 (Haptic Seat Pad).

I have been trying to get @viper4r working well (Slip and Lock on 4 axis on Seat) with his plugin. I am trying to implements @RnageyRover enhancements, but for Rumble/Haptic motors (I don't have shakers). As a new (old) sim racer I am trying to learn/feel the limits of slip, lock, over/under steer, trail braking etc. Ands seems @RnageyRover tweaks sound like thew better separate these out and @Shodan0000 seems to have this figured out as well.

Be great to get everyones latest updates/settings/input especially considering the new AMS2 1.6+ and SimHub, etc.

Can anyone give me some pointers on setting this up for Rumbles/Haptics Motors instead of Shaker.

@bob jackson You have any luck getting you setup working?

You should be able to transfer the formulas straight over. Ignore the Frequency stuff it's only relevant for shakers. Here is the latest. Good luck, let me know if you are struggling and I'll try to make time for a motors version. I have a HF8 but dont use these on it.

    Thanks @RnageyRover !!!!!

I will give it a shot. In the meantime I did see you post on the Sim3D discord:
Discord - Group Chat That’s All Fun & Games

I don't have the Sim3D rumbles, but I do have the 3DRap which seem to be very similar so figured the Sim3D profiles (like yours) might be a good starting point. I also have the 3dRap wind.

I don't want to derail this thread so if its ok maybe I will send you a PM if/when you have time.

    Thank you sir!
    Geo

Not exactly on topic, but related. I'm considering buying some led strips and using simhub to drive them. I'd like to set them up to provide slip/lock meters for traction and braking, one for each wheel. Is this possible? And if so, using the same formula(s) in this thread?

Yes, it is possible if using SimHub plus viper plugin

    Many thanks.

Will get that downloaded and installed and have a play with it at the weekend. Hopefully if I can get a simple dash/overlay working with software LEDs, should be fairly straightforward to get some real LEDs on my wheelbase... Has been a long time since I did a electronics project, quite looking forward to soldering, breadboard, and components again!

I just wanted to give a few tricks I've learned as there is no Bass Shaker config for games. In audio there is a setting called LFE. Try turning it up. Try it on different places on the slider. This setting controls low frequency effects. Also I have found a dedicated sound card can give one more frequency response than just a cheap 45 dollar mini 50 watt amp from online vendors.(They work on a budget but do not produce as much finite detail.)

to those using SIMHUB & looking for an early warning effect that ramps up before you have completely lost grip in AMS2

try using the "TRACTION LOSS" effect in conjuction with "WHEELS SLIP"

ive had abit of success using both & adjusting the threshold of traction loss so that you can use it as a "heavy" tyre slip effect, that allows you to choose at which point this effect kicks in

just an update on my previous post, i am back to using just WHEEL SLIP without stacking it to a secondary effect, though using 2 combined effects for awhile did give me some insight into how i could better adjust the curve so the effect ramps up exactly where i want it to, quite happy with it now, ill post my settings but obviously these are specific to my own hardware
    i have 4 Dayton TT25-8, 2 under pedal plate & 2 under seat
