True, I will check with the folks at Simhub as well. I was wondering if anyone here had the same problem and if they managed to fix it. I am not trying to blame AMS2 for that problem. You are right, It may be something inside simhub, how it process the data. Since AMS2 uses the same protocol as PC2 , I will check if the same happens there. cheers rafa
I have the same problem with overlay. sometimes it stops working and I get a black dashboard. But the shaker keeps working. this occurs when changing cars
Simhub is a very modular concept. Shakers and dashboards are very different modules. Maybe there is a bug in dashboard or in communication between simhub main module and dashboard. I think only WOTEVER or the dashboard developer can fix that.
I asked on Discord just now if it was possible to get ARB, lights, KERS and more on a dash. Things like ARB show up on screen when changed so I hope it's possible to get it displayed on a Simhub dash.
ARB is not featured in shared memory for HEADLIGHT there is an ON/OFF flag KERS / BOOST is already implemented in some dashes ABS state ON/OFF and ACTIVE implemented but no values would be great if Reiza could enhance (and debug) the current pCARS2 shared memory/UDP features. But thank god they use the current one and all app developers could use it from start.
That would be good. For KERS, @Baku was able to make it appear, just waiting for him to share his dash.
You can run every element of it as an overlay or a dashboard as you like by editing it. As regarding the window size and the amount of data, I run it in Oculus VR placing it on top of the steering wheel position and it suites me pretty good, despite a buggy dash pin/resize optimization atm on the Oculus side. @sherpa25 Here you may download my dashboard : Baku Oculus VR.simhubdash | Solidfiles It is a compilation of a different available overlays I found available with my personalized customization. Thx to all the talented people made it possible. ABS/TC/DRS is not working atm due to the lack of a telemetery data from AMS2.
I hope someone (I tried but failed) can make a dash that has working ABS/TC, pit speed limiter, DRS/KERS and roll bar information on it. I dislike having any HUD on screen but need it for these few things that no dash seems to be able to read. I don't understand how it works but in some Sims we have more options working but non do roll bars and AMS2 misses more than most
I cant seem to get AMS2 to connect to Simhub. Says its not configured? Only manual? I followed the instructions to go into the AMS2 settings and changed to PC2 Its not connected when game is running. Im using it for shakers. All other games such as AC and ACC work fine. Dont know what to do next? Any help would be great.
It now connects and shakers working in game. So seems to work now? But am I missing something if the game is not configured?
Hey mate, can you please help me find these two flags? I have it so ABS flashes when active but i cant get the ON/OFF to show up on dash, nor can i find the HEADLIGHT ON/OFF flag
nah. That was not meant that its already in Simhub. Its just as flag inside the telemetry protocol from PC2/AMS2, so SimHub could support it.
Here is what i've been able to do, ABS flashes, brake balance works and flags work for the most part. Any ideas or improvements would be great. Porsche GT3 Cup Dash Set
Just replying here as i cant send these through PM. Hope its okay with everyone Just some dash sets for SimHub that i'm hoping Wolfgang can help with . For anyone interested, i created this dash and it lags and has big delay! I don't understand because the Porsche dash above has much more details and information than this simple Trainer dash yet the Trainer dash is sluggish I hoping Wolf can help but in case he cant maybe someone else could offer suggestions.
Sorry for the seemingly dumb question but did you buy Simhub and apply the key to it to remove the 100ms delay and 6fps limit of the demo?
Not a dumb question I sure did. I'm dissecting all the dashes in SimHub to see what is different or wrong on this one but cant see anything i've done wrong! That BMW M3 E92 has gauges and lots more info that this simple 3 gauges dash i made yet mine lags on the RPM needle
