It seems it was the fact i was using "Blur Radius" to make the dash text look worn that was causing the slow down!! I removed all blur and its back to how im used to ! Thanks for the help though.
Not too big delay here, something one can live with... I'm not an expert on SimHub but probably some steps ahead. The cons: [Edit] Your Formula Trainer dash is too much dark for me Some properties could be updated to the actual standards and some IMO could be lefted out. PM for details The pros: You're in a good way to learn And yes, SimHub is great!
Thanks for the input. What is to dark? If your talking the Porsche Cup dash, i put in everything i like to have on dash since i dont use a HUD in game the dash needs lots of details
Oh, yeah this one is just getting sorted. I was having that lag issue so was spending all my time trying to figure that out. I'm not sure what else to change to make it brighter as the real car in game is very simple.
would be great if we could have that as plugin for the HUD. Directly , not as simple boarderless window overlay.
That's not something i can do is it? Why do you want it like that and not on a second screen or overlay? (i don't know why people use overlays either and not a nice cheap phone?)
You can change the overlay module into a full overlay in the studio via one of the tick boxes on the right. Also Simhub is so modulable, it can suit everyone's needs and desires. I don't want to have to use a second screen. It is nice for immersion, but I want to stay focused on the main screen
It seems my dash's are to big, the resolution is to much for overlays. As for focusing on the main screen, with the correct placement the second screen just blends in as if it is the main screen but with some added depth that actually adds immersion and realism while providing the means to have no HUD at all! A massive plus for me.
I think you can just copy the plugin into a blank overlay and adjust the size to fit the center-bottom or something like that. Haven't used the studio in a while.
Any Germans able to tell me what Benz. Druck means on the M1 dash please? Google tells me it means Benz Print but why is that a bar gauge on a car in a racing sim?
Google translate gives me 'Benz. Pressure'. Can't work out what the 'Benz.' is... It seems 'Ol' or 'Oel' is 'Oil', and that's what it is, oil pressure.
My little digging suggested otherwise*. I'd say the spectrum of the gauge is a little off for fuel pressure. *Edit: As far as what the gauge is of course, may well say fuel pressure for some reason as Gordie suggests. Edit 2: In fact, looking at this pic, the gauge on the opposite (Right) side there is likely fuel pressure. (Smaller operating window, smaller gauge scale)
Nice picture! I am just copying the ingame dash, the Benz pressure one doesn't even seem to work ingame. I will see what I can get to run with SimHub, all the other temps, pressures are fine but now I've seen that picture I'm not sure making the orange/red whatever ingame dash is is best I'm making a second page also and making the laps and race position into a gauge also to match the first page, I'll see how that works
Yeah, I'd say it's more than likely straight from pcars 2 where sms didn't bother creating a new gauge with a slightly lower range when the 0-10Bar did the job. Seems it should be 0-8Bar going from this pic too. As for whether it actually works in-game, even if it did the pressure wouldn't vary much anyway, should be fairly static once an engine is running in most cases.
imho its total irrelevant what this gauge does or should be or looks. Op asked for translation of "Benz. Druck" and this is definitely " fuel pressure"
