My CPU has one of my cores pegged at 100% while in sim at all times. It's also worth noting that even in the menus I have multiple cores hitting 100% peaks. I've been through slew of solutions, nothing seems to work, already went through this forum and Google results, tried the -pthreads 4 launch option. I'm all updated, BIOS, Nvidia drivers, WIndows, Park Control and Process Lasso installed and configured. I've tried different update rates on my Simucube and my keyboard. This isn't my first time with this problem and I just thought somebody else would have and solve it, nope. I had this same issue in 2023 with all different drivers. Same situation, nothing solved it. Is my CPU bad? I have no problems with my CPU whatsoever outside of this across a huge range of programs. my specs: 12900k 32GB DD4 RAM 3080ti Windows 10 SImucube 2 Sport Heusinkveld Sport Pedals I found a solution to this issue. There is some sort of thermal limit that AMS2 is really good at activating in this processor. Solution: I uninstalled Intel XTU, changed a bunch of things in the bios, but most importantly I wrote down which cores hit 100% and turned down the clock speeds per core one by one in the BIOS and ended up with x39 on some cores and x42 on others. Solved it completely with seemingly no drawbacks although I didn't even do benchmarks. Anyway it seems like it is solved and not a Reiza problem.
