I have a latest steering assignment problem with the new Moza R25 Ultra,
I can assign "steer left" no problem but no matter what i do the "steer right" assignment will not work.

It recognises the input if i start it on full left and move right to 0 deg, but that screws up any calibration and I only get the car turning right in the game.! HELP!!! :)

Hi, I just bought a used Moza R9 wheel and immediately tried it with AMS 2, which I love. But I've never been able to get the base to work. From the settings, if I set it to Generic Direct Drive, it doesn't feel the wheel or the pedals. It only works if I set it to "Custom Wheel," but then the base doesn't shake or do anything; it's as if it were turned off. In ACC, everything works great, but in ACC, the VR is awful. Is there a way to fix this? It's a shame AMS2 has so many problems.

Welcome to our forum! Sorry to hear you’re having issues with your new wheel.

You can try these links for help: Automobilista 2 (AMS2) or Reddit - The heart of the internet

If that doesn’t work, you may need to check the pit house settings. I don’t have a Moza base myself, but Moza might have a Discord channel or a community like Reddit where others have faced the same issue and found a solution.

    Thank you,
    Marius

    Hey everyone,
Since a few weeks (after the GT1 Update), i am eyperiencing occasional upshift Issues with my CSL-DD 8NM. Sometimes the Car just misses some upshift and today it suddenly stopped shifting completely....after restart everything is fine, Hardware seems to be working fine.
Happens very rarely, maybe once in a few days, but as I am driving in a competitive League this still can be very harmful...
Anyone who had the same issue and might know some Solution?

    Thx in advance

Which driver are you on? There's been a couple of issues (up)shifting on Fanatec bases with some drivers. Latest driver 474 fixed these, as well the beta-package on their forum.

    @Marius H
After the Issues happened for the first Time I Updated to 474 and thought that fixed it, cause it worked fine for like 2 weeks...then today I suddenly had the issue that it completey stopped shifting while driving after some laps.
I was still using fanalab with 474 Driver and not the new Fanatec App with updated Firmware, could that cause any issues?

FYI Thrustmaster finally fixed this with a software update for the T598 base targeting this specific issue. I just had to wait 1 year but now everything works fine. :D

You might want to try upgrading to the beta app. I’d recommend reading through the forum thoroughly, as every base and wheel rim is different. For me, version 474 fixed the upshift issues, but my Podium Endurance module still freezes occasionally; minor, but annoying. I’m patient and hoping the new app update will resolve this eventually.

You can also search the Fanatec-forum for posts from users with similar issues and the same wheel base. I’m pretty sure it’s a software problem, though it could be hardware in the worst case. Either way, I’m leaning toward software.

Why hasn't a specific Moza setup application been done by now? Reading through this topic it's obvious that over time plenty of Moza users have had problems. At present I have a paid for game that is unusable.

I’ve been experiencing an ongoing issue for years where my wheel and pedals are inconsistently detected by this game.

When set to Generic DD, inputs work, but I lose features. When set to Logitech Pro with Separate Pedals, the game fails to register the hardware about half the time.

This problem is well-documented across forums and search results, indicating it’s not user error. Other titles like Assetto Corsa, ACC, ACE, iRacing, and even Forza Motorsport handle this correctly.

The inconsistency makes the game frustrating to play and difficult to recommend, despite my desire to do so. A basic function like hardware detection should be reliable by now. I hope this receives the attention it needs.

    Hello,

Sorry to read you’re experiencing issues with your setup

I see you’ve tried Generic Wheel and Logitech Pro with Separate Pedals. Have you also tried setting the pedals to Separate or using Custom Wheel + Separate? Keep in mind you’ll need to reassign your keys, axes, etc.

If you’re still facing issues, don’t hesitate to reply.

    Marius

Hi Marius, I am running a Fanatec DD1 with V2 formula Wheel and also Clubsport pedals... having a problem with the wheel not turning in game, I have the system settings to Project Cars 2, is this correct, firstly? Also I am able to change key configuration so I know the game is picking up the wheel etc and I can also see that the base/wheel/pedals is listed in the congfiguration page. This worked fine prevously and I cannot, for the life of me work out why the wheel calibration is not being picked up by the game software, when I go to calibrate there is no indication of movement in the game software, the fanatec software does pick up the movement and button presses, however.

    What is the fix?

    Dale.

    Hello Dale,

Have you tried changing the settings to 'Custom Wheel', like in the screenshot below. You've to redo your button-assignments again.

The solution in the first message didn't work for me, nothing is working and I don't know what else to do. I don't want to give up on Automobilista 2 since it's one of my favorite sims and I have all the DLCs.
It all happened after I formatted it, because I updated my PC. I went from an Asus x470 motherboard and AMD 5800x to an MSI MAG X870E TOMAHAWK WIFI (MS-7E59) and AMD 9950 x3D. I used an Asetek Forte base and Racehub software. I have several peripherals connected, perhaps too many, all interfaced with SimHub and Control Mapper and all obviously working perfectly. Before formatting, AMS2 would occasionally not detect some commands, the base always worked perfectly, I rebooted and everything was fine. Now it always detects any input except the base. I followed all the instructions on Letytera, but Racehub doesn't want to talk to Automobilista 2. Telemetry works perfectly because SimHub detects everything correctly.
Basically, when I map the axes, instead of rx+ and rx-, it always says left tumbstick: left and right tumbstick: right, as if it were a pad. It rarely mapped correctly, but I still had no ffb and the steering wheel didn't turn properly. I've tried everything: I've reformatted, I've reinstalled racehub and ams2 several times, I've deleted the automobilista 2 folder in my documents, but nothing, the dock isn't detected. I don't know what else to do. I installed automobilista 2 on my laptop to check, and the dock works perfectly and is detected correctly, but not on my gaming desktop.

    Sorry for the long message.
