I have a fresh install of windows 10 and fresh install of game, my specs are i7 7700K 4.2 GHZ, 16GB DDR4 ram, Game installed on SSD, nivida GTX 1080ti and I'm getting very bad stutters even though the game is running above 200fps.

Please fix Reiza as it's unplayable the way it is now. :(

Do you have Documents folder on another SSD or HDD?
If yes, run the game as admin (this way you will create a player folder inside the game install instead than documents folder) and tell us if you see some difference...

Fixed my issue by turning shadows down from Max to Medium and turning off Shadow Blur.

So it's quite safe to say there's smth inaccurate in the gfx code, then ? You can find a semi-conclusion in this thread that the shadows are at fault too.
You shouldn't be required to turn anything off with such a powerful machine, though.
Probably some shortcomings of an outdated gfx engine/software, I suppose.

I have a lot less powerful machine, and I have noticed I got a much smoother experience when I capted my fps, rather than letting them go as high as possible. I have a 60 Mhz screen so I used 59 but of course it can be higher. I have everything on full, including shadows; and no stuttering despite using an HDD. I really don't know if it will work for others, but maybe worth a try?

Running as "Admin" seems to have solved the stuttering for me.

Nope, running as admin doesn't solve it for me.

    One more thing:

Where is the data (user folder, etc...) located when you run as admin ?

    edit:
Oh, i see. It's in the main install userdata folder.

So, what i need to know now is whether i can run as admin anew and
    have the vsync turned off.

If you run the game as admin, you need to run the config as admin too.

No change. Running as admin doesn't solve it for me.

It's great with Vsync ON, but the input lag is very obvious and too off-putting to me.

Saw the post on running as admin, discovered doing so created a new User folder within the game installation folder. Once I'd setup my wheel and settings again - omg, really really smooth gameplay - massive difference compared to the irritating stutters I was getting on almost all corners.

edit: also using adaptive V-sync , nvidia 970, 388.13 drivers

^^ Sorry, I meant adaptive V-sync, on in nvidia control panel. Max frames 120, 60hz on monitor.

But you have vsync in ams config set to OFF, correct ?
I mean, If you run config as admin is the vsync set to OFF ?

vsync off in ams config, correct. It is also set to run as admin.

I just tried it with v-snyc OFF in both ams cfg and nvidia ctrl panel, it seemed smoother than with the adaptive i was using earlier. Cannot detect input lag either way, but I am also old.

the biggest difference came from setting the ams.exe to run as admin, and the subsequent creation of a User folder and cfgs in the game installation folder.

    Hope this helps

Just had a lot of running with those settings, and tbh, whilst reduced, the stuttering is still there. But this is all very subjective and I'm not sure if anything I'm trying is really helping or not :)

The bottom line: there is still an annoying amount of stuttering, and I hope Reiza can get to the bottom if it.

Does any know if the recent MS Fall Creators Update has received fixes for FPS issues in games? MS had acknowledged the existence of such issues but, I haven't heard anything since.
