ENGLISH : i also have stuterring problems

I updated the number of things I've tried all with zero change to the problem.

Just to repeat - b/c my issue is different than some others - I get a close to a one second stutter about every 90-100 seconds. I used to think it was a part of a track that did it, but that was coincidence b/w timing and track length.

Please help, this is a new PC build that rips through GTA V, AC, pCars, Dirt Rally, et al. If this doesn't run or I have to turn off a core feature like time cycles to make this game playable, that's a huge disappointment. Thanks all, Ryna

I think it's your driver version/nvidia settings. I use an old Gigabyte driver version 147.09. Tried the newest Nvidia version 375 yesterday and reset all my control panel and nvidia profile settings and found the new driver was alot worse so rolled back.I use MSI afterburner to monitor GPU clock power temp etc.

Disabling replay recording has fixed some people's stuttering issues.

Will try. But hopefully this is a short term fix as it would be a shame to lose that functionality.

As for the graphics drivers, my card mfg (EVGA) only uses the default nVidia drivers.

If it solves it, it is a hardware issue as the replay is writing to HDD at the same time causing stuttering issues.

    PROBLEM FOUND!!!!!!
Long story short, very much methodical trial and error....

It was my Carbonite automatic backup system!!! Every 84-86 seconds it must have been tapping a resource that only AMS uses. But if I pause Carbonite before I play, or I can even alt-TAB out and pause it, I get no stutter!!!

I am so relieved, and excited, and thankful to the Reiza community for your patience and help. :hurrayreiza:

oh wow, was gonna say I have almost exactly the same setup as you with no issues so must be some other factor:) Glad you worked it out. I wouldn't be surprised if other peoples stuttering issues where related to other software in play like antivirus and backup programs

I guess your sutter is different than mine. Mine seems to be directly related to shadow updates.

Since the recent update I have stuttering again. Fps fluctuation occur while it happen. Going from ~140 to ~90 back and forth.
    Former version was fine!

I have tied to run the sim as admin, and it resolved nothing!
But hey, it deleted my driver settings, and I had to configure it all over again.
I don't have time for this! I'm very annoyed right now, and questioning the decision to buy into the season pass.
    Good bye Reiza!

    Not your fault DaVex ;)
I don't understand your first question, I set ams.exe to run as admin all the time in properties. And it is on a hdd.
I must admit, the stuttering is now slightly less prominent, but still very noticeable, and it's frequency hasn't changed either.

Running as admin stores your user data in a different different folder. Stop running as admin to get access to your old files.
