Internet, Thrustmaster? http://ts.thrustmaster.com/download...T_LCM/T-LCM_RJ12-pedal_set_mode_detection.pdf
All the document says is: T2PA 2-pedal sets and T3PA and T3PA-PRO 3-pedal sets (Potentiometric type - low resolution) T-LCM pedal set (magnetic and load cell type - high resolution) As the T3PAs are less than 12 bit resolution (1028 - 10 bit?), they would always be lower resolution than the T-LCMs through the RJ12 (4096 - 12 bit). It doesn't specifically say anywhere that the RJ12 connection now gives 16 bit resolution. Or am I missing something?
The answer is on internet, Example: New TM Base firmware update will allow 16-bit resolution for T-LCMs through the RJ12 cable : simracing The link is to help you.
I don't think there is any official statement about it, but the only reason the mode would need to change via firmware is to allow this upgrade, as the connector already worked.
That post is not by anyone from Thrustmaster and that's not what the screenshot in the link says (see my previous post). Until someone from Thrustmaster announces this officially, it's just someone on Reddit jumping to conclusions - it may be correct but we have no way of knowing for certain.
