Is there some possibility that this might help you out with the stuttering?

It's a weird problem and it could that we are actually talking multiple multiple different causes / symptoms that seem like the same, but aren't

I had those freezes where the screen goes black for a while, but the game continues in the background, I get the FFB, sound etc. I think was early 2023 and lasted for a while until ended 100% and my best guess is they were caused (for me) by having second screen and both set to run at 240hz. I didn't use my secondary screen for a long time because of that, but eventually tried it again, but this time having both screen set at 120Hz... and no problems whatsoever.

Not too long ago I started having stutters, only in MP, not all the time, but they happened often few corners, no every lap, not always exactly in same spot, but close (this was in VR btw). Really weird, updated drivers for GPU, VR related stuff I could think off, but nope, didnt' go away. It was getting worse and worse, usually I got maybe a lap or two into the session before they started again and again and became more frequent and I had to stop racing in MP altogether. We'll the solution was to restart my router... ( I didn't have other network related issues though). Which made me think that maybe the AMS2 netcode is really picky about those kind of things and maybe some issues for some might be related to some weird compability issues with certain routers, router settings or the like. If you have a change, maybe it would be worth a try with some different router or even internet connection to see does it make any difference.

I never have had those issues where it happens exactly after 5 or 10mins from session start (unless the freezes black screen freezes were like that, I never timed it). For those who have, maybe there is something happening in the router / internet provider that adds some bad packet loss etc. and the game doesn't like that. If the game itself would have some check every 5/10min (or wait time), I would think that would be very easy for the devs to find and would have been fixed already.

Hey guys. I'm having this same problem randomly. In the broadcast video, my car disappears on the map and then returns. And in the view of the opponent who was behind, my car also disappears and then returns. The images were taken from the game replay itself and from the video broadcast of the race that was made by someone else. I have already followed all the tips and guidelines here in the topic. I checked the game log files, checked windows events and nothing was found. I don't know what it could be, but this is really disrupting online racing.

    Hello.
I left the performance monitor open along with a stopwatch and recorded everything.
I managed to capture the exact moment the VR image froze. One of three seconds followed by one of two seconds.
The stopwatch and OBS did not freeze, indicating that the problem was only with the VR image.
From the graph, you can see that disk 3 (main/system) was at 100% at the time of the freeze and the network also had a large oscillation.
I don't believe it is something with the GPU, since the oscillation was small and there was no freeze on the stopwatch (monitor).
The game is on another disk.
Now the question is whether the problem is with the network or the HD.
    What could be causing this?
    It only happens on AMS2.
