Some videos of the new ultra-aggressive AI. The Reddit thread is discussing how bad the AI is now Great content. Terrible AI

Everyone is getting rammed, pit manuever is back, I've had AI cars glued to my outside riding me off track, low percentage passes in bad spots, LOTS of contact and the aggression slider doesn't seem to work. I haven't been able to race 30 minutes without being spun out and AI doing something stupid. It's like public lobby racing.

The AI was so good before today, now it's as bad as it was last December when the oval content ruined the AI.

As has been said before, we need video of AI issues.

I honestly don't get where you see any AI issue here. You were driving with an obviously too slow pace for the AI settings. You were bascially holding up a huge group of cars that were very very gentle trying not to crash into you while searching for gaps. You were even trying to push them off track and block them.

    Examples:
    You're side by side

Look where your car is heading, you leave no space but try to push the AI off track while it's already as far outside and it can be

    upload_2026-7-6_10-28-26.png

In another situation, you are outside
    upload_2026-7-6_10-31-22.png
instead of sticking to it for a perfect line the moment you touch the brake you sway hard towards the inside to block the other car. Note where the gripped line is, nobody could have predicted this move.

And into the corner where it came to the crash. Here, the correct move would be to stick to the inside line to not risk crashing into the outer car.

But you moved outside, the AI car wisely slowed down to avoid a crash from the line it had to the right to stick to
    upload_2026-7-6_10-23-58.png
But you instantly went back to the mid to block the other car that was trying to go inside
    upload_2026-7-6_10-24-26.png
But then again going wide again
    upload_2026-7-6_10-24-59.png
It was that corner that you threw away the car on your own, watch you clips again. lost your rearend on turn in and drifted into the grass. The contact with the silver Porsche happened afterwards with it not having a chance to go anywhere else.

I'm not quite sure if you saw the other cars in the mirror and turned in front on them or purpose of you just weren't aware where they were. But you honestly have to work an your awareness of other cars. Decide which line you want to take and stick to it. Even if they are not fully overlapped yet, don't expect other drivers - AI or human - to back down. I can assure you that the AI was really really nice to you in these clips, in an online race nobody would have backed down that hard on aggressive blocks and moving under braking.

You can't hold back two cars with faster pace that are already quite in your bumper at the same time. If they are really that fast and aggressive, take the loss that they overtake you and try to get back to them. Getting stuck in duels for a long time always increases the chance of an accident and will ruin the pace for all involved, leading to cars further behind catching up

Tune down the difficulty for the class, the AI had a way faster pace which lead to the issue that you were braking way earlier then them.

    100 AI
low aggression (the slider doesn't seem to make a difference anymore)
    GT1 + GT2 Curitiba 90 minute race
    driving the Spyker

Same race, same settings except medium aggression. The difference between medium and low? The AI at least stayed on the track to pit me. On medium the AI went all 4 wheels off the track in the divebomb.

It wasn't possible to finish this race, I gave up after several attempts. The new AI is not good at all.

To give a clearer angle of the car that's the issue spectate their car not yours.

Regarding that clip, that is indeed a pace issue between you and the set AI level. You are slowing down way harder than you have to while the AI tries to hold on to their higher pace. You brake like 1.5 car lengths before the gripped line appears. The Porsche on the inside took that as his chance to overtake inside since he uses a way later breaking point. The moment you crossed to the inside of the corner the Porsche had no chance to slow down enough, he even tried to go off track to avoid a crash

While such accidents can annoy, it's actually why I really enjoy AMS2 AI and why it feels the most humanlike of all sims to me. It tries to guess where your car will be in the corner and places it's car appropriately. But it can't predict moves of the player that are really risky or unpredictable. The Porsche did exactly what a human would have done, he decided to go for an attack on a gap that was there since he was faster.

If you see a car like 0.2s behind you, trying to find a gap, never ever leave the corner inside open hoping they won't go for it. It's pretty much is baiting for a nose to peek into it. Decide for a side of the corner and stick to it. With the upcoming right turn ahead it was totally safe to leave a bit of space for the Porsche on the inside since he had no chance to overtake you on the outside of the next corner anyway
