The Feature Request Thread...

Can we PLEASE open up this invisible wall at Nords 24 so it can make qualifying easier for anyone that's ever had to do it in a short quali session.

 

Hello, I'm a relatively new user here, but I've spent around 120 hours on AMS2 over the past few years. As a member of Chile's first and growing sim racing community, we're currently transitioning from another sim racing game to AMS2 in big strides. However, certain aspects detract from our overall community experience.


For instance, social media platforms like Instagram, with its Reels feature, have been instrumental in promoting our events. Yet, the lack of a robust and user-friendly tool to watch replays with complete freedom is exhausting. It would be fantastic to have additional tools to better navigate replays, such as:


- Drone camera
- Freecam
- Freedom to move the camera
- Ability to navigate through specific times of the race


These features would significantly enhance the replay experience and make creating engaging content for social media much easier.


Additional suggestions:


- Integrated video editing tools
- Variable speed replay options
- Key moment markers
- Direct sharing of replays to social media platforms

 

omg, yes please. let us go around while we warm up the tires, invalidate the previous lap, or just to go to the pits.

 

Are there plans to put the years that certain cars raced in? Particularly the open wheelers (asking for a friend ).

 

I've often wondered about the year(s) also. Even if given a range of relevant years in service.

 

I know, I've got a rough idea but it would be so much simpler just to put it in.

regarding F1 content and potentially other open wheel series where this is a thing:
The ability to order front wing level changes in pit stops. (this is modelled in the official F1 games but sadly not in any actual sim that i know of)

 

It would be neat if car dash would recognize if high beam is enabled or not and reflect that correctly.

 

I would love to have a Favorite car feature.
So we can click a star on our fav cars and they get copied into a car category that we can access.

can we have a way to save a singleplayer championship status mid weekend perhaps after trainning session or qualify? I'm tired of loosing training, qualify even races because some household obligaiton, it would be very nice to have this feature. I like online playing but also love playing against AI to get used to tracks and decompress a little from the online racing.

 

I am very much used to the save after session and also saved anywhere from the F1 games so this should absolutely be a thing.

 

I do not remember if i wrote this or not:
Time penalties for ignoring blue flags ON / OFF ? To reflect various race series where in some blue flags are just informative, in others a driver gets a time penalty after a while if they do not yield. Having it as an ON / OFF option would help to let people customize it to whatever they want.

AMS2 - Better camera managent for making YouTube video's.
Ola, I love racing AMS 2 and I love to create simracing content doing so. But for me to create a video like this, I have to record a replay for every angle.

Is there a possibility to select a camera angle from a replay and export to a video file? Let say I open the replay of a race in AMS2, I select the angles I want, I select the export setting, mov / mp4. And let AMS2 export the video files so I can multi cam it.

Or even better, have an multicam studio editor inside AMS, do my editing in the AMS content studio and when done: publish to YouTube. That would be a great marketing tool for your game also.

Please add the option of viewing replays in the helmet cam! It looks very cinematic, but it‘s pretty difficult to drive with it, and there‘s currently no way of accessing that POV besides using it while driving. Cheers!
