    I want to suggest marshalls waving flags. At Le Mans there're many track marshalls doing nothing. They can wave blue, yellow, white flags. Just a suggestion for immersion.

    Probably a big ask but can we get the same level of AI customization from singleplayer into multiplayer? I'd love to do a little coop with a friend and being able to use the custom AI files would be nice.

    Or at least add the new AI mistake setting into MP, it shows "Standard" but the option is missing when you open the AI settings. I've been having a blast making chaotic races with AI mistakes in singleplayer and would love to share that experience with friends.

    One of your problems here is that that is the correct size tank for the mini of that year.
    Something that you could try is increasing the pit speed limit, so that you reduce the time lost in the pits. These cars would have raced with no pit speed limits.

    That’s a very fair point, to have the fuel usage equalised would then ruin it for those that are looking for it to be historically accurate, and whether that agrees with my agenda or not, that is the more important thing to maintain.

    As a follow up/alternate request then, could I ask for a Class Selection option that allows fuel usage options of “Authentic, Equalised in class, Equalised all classes” (or similar).
    Whereby the fuel stint length is then equalised to the lowest stint length vehicle found within the option selected, if not set to “Authentic”?

    I suspect that this request is much more complicated and far less likely to be implemented, but it would maintain the historical accuracy of the game by default whilst also allowing for all cars to be used/enjoyed on an equal footing.

    In the meantime, I’ll look at the pit limit removal and see how that plays out, thanks for the suggestion. Otherwise I’ll just keep fuel usage off and use the tyre life as the stint length limitation because it’s such an enjoyable car to drive I do want to find a way so that I can keep using it and remain competitive in longer races.

    Can you please branch out the option to display wheel/driver between the VR executeable and regular executeble or however it works ?
    Cause i need the wheel for playing vr but i despise it when sitting in my rig.
    Making it an option that is saved for each instance separately would be amazing QoL fpr players that switch between VR and regular.

    I’d love the ability to set dirt accumulation rates, similar to time progression, tire wear, and fuel consumption. I like my race cars filthy, lol

    Actually, this isn't a new request, but it would be interesting to adjust the duration of the FCY. I tried setting this feature to random in multi-class races, but often the safety car comes back to the pits long before the group has fully caught up. So: 1) Make the FCY last until the entire group is compacted. 2) Alternatively, provide an option for the FCY duration in terms of laps. Personally, the first option would be more optimal. Obviously, this would be for single-player; perhaps the current system works well for multiplayer (?).

    The BMW GT3 gen 2 always shows a red background for the tyre temps on the dash. watching some onboards it changes with the temperatures. This would be a welcome change as that red background always shouts "too hot" to me

    Trigger feedback for gamepads

    So the other day I came across a mod for Assetto Corsa, called Advanced Gamepad Assist. Now with stability help I can drive just fine, but a cool thing about that mod is that it makes the right trigger vibrate with wheelspin and left trigger vibrate with wheel lockup on brake. I believe it could be very nice for accessibility for people who don't have a steering wheel or, like me, only can realistically use it every once in a while. Helps with immersion in general

    Volume control for 'audio warnings to notify users that MP "Ready" up timer is about to end'z.

    Motivation
    The new sound is very loud and I don't want to globally turn down my precisely dialled-in audio mix. Also I never had any issues missing a MP start b/c of the timer.

    On the time trial leader board It would be nice to see the total number of entries. I find myself trying to page through all the ranking to get to the end to see how many entries there are. I like to judge my self not just on position of the rankings but what top percent I'm in. After all, if you're 5th out 10 entries are you really that fast? But if you're 5th out of 100,000 I would consider you an alien.

    I think once you get to some value n the distribution of times is going to be roughly there. I don't know what the value of n is, but it's probably greater than 10 but a lot less than 100k.

    There aren't many leaderboards with it. I mean the guy who does the "I'll get in the top 10 in 3 laps" with his randomizer has mostly been in the top 10 by default on the few I've seen - albeit there have been a few TT board wipes. Which doesn't mean there are no quick times but it lowers the chance the times are quick.

    There are no aliens though. Driving is a skill. I wouldn't bother with the TT if I thought if it wasn't possible to move up the leaderboard with practise and perseverance. And there's a skill ceiling for a fast lap beyond which you can't really get better because the limit is not the driver it's all the other factors that state the minimum possible lap time. Especially in a computer game in a mode where the conditions are identical. If the lowest theoretical possible time were, say 56 seconds dead, well that's as good as anyone can get. You might be a better driver but you can only match anyone else that gets 56 seconds dead.

    The skill ceiling is high enough to make it worthwhile, but it's not high in the sense that a game like Team Fortress 2 is.

    Suggestion.
    To be able to use a custom AI file on a dedicated server and/or in multi.
    Benefit=
    Immersion being able to race with one or two mates against a true field. Eg Indy cars 1997 with zanardi and co. With Dedi we can also run a series

    Not really a feature request but a change to the Car Reset:
    Only if the car is upside down, there car has to be standing still for at least 30 seconds before it can be pressed with an onscreen timer saying how much left before active (some semblence of realism, don't see someone flipping over a car faster anyway), and when it resets it will be on the edge of the track on grass/gravel, and not on asphalt.

    Ok, would like to see a feature where you can actually decide what race strategy you would like, a bit like F1 games, where you pick, how many stops you want, and then the amount of fuel will be already calculated into those stops for you, also would like to see more mandatory pit stops included.

    No but my guess is that the inner workings of the Madness Engine makes that impossible or very difficult. Notably restoring LiveTrack state, as the inability to directly seek to a position in a replay illustrate.

    Is it feasible to make the relative use the same time as the driver standing but in seconds? I find the driver standing to be more accurate on the distance between yourself and the drivers in front and behind. Currently the relative jumps all over the place when approaching a corner (breaking) and acceleration. I currently only use the relative to know if the driver in front is a lapped car or not.
