The Feature Request Thread...

Please give us brits the option of picking what region we're from, Wales, Scotland, England, Northern Ireland
Would be so easy to implement.
I'm sure I've asked this before but I'm going to keep moithering..

 

I'd totally pay 10 bucks for a "Milano DLC", featuring GT3 gen 1 and 2, GTE and a Hypercar.

Based on Game Build: 1.6.8.5 (Historical Endurance 2005 DLC)
Request Title: Add the option to select the dates for free practice, quali and race 2.
Description: Same as above.
Benefits: It would improve realism, especially when using the real weather system.

E.g.: Typical Stock Car Brazil schedule
FRIDAY - Free practice (11:00 am)
SATURDAY - Quali (09:00 am), Sprint Race (04:00 pm)
SUNDAY - Main Race (12:00 am)

Request Title: Showroom Improvements
Description: New Showroom incl. gamepad support
Benefits: Imporved presentation of the amazing car models

I know it, you know it, we know you know it: The current showroom in AMS2 has not changed since early 2020 Early-Access and it shows (hehe). The lighting looks flat, the room looks boring and too dark and it is not possible to move the camera via gamepad to look around the car and zoom in on the details. (I have no mouse at my wheelstand so I barely use the showroom.)
The quality of the car models improved from DLC to DLC but the showroom does'nt do them justice. As a VR/wheel-user it is basically impossible to just enjoy all the work your team put in when bringing those models into the sim.
I guess a new showroom is on the AMS2-roadmap at some point (probably when the campaign releases). Proper gamepad support would be appreciated asap.

 

As telemetry-based FFB is getting popular and the impressions are quite good, it'd be good if the game supported it. I'm not sure what needs to be done to achieve that, but VNM support stated that AMS2 doesn't support telemetry-based FFB.

Request Title: Allow to make Advanced Setup the Default
Description: Insert an Option that allows to select Default Setup Type (Quick/Advanced)
Benefits: Allows users of Adv Setups to avoid unneccessary Clicks every time

I don't know if this was requested before, but could you please introduce an Option that allows the user to set Advanced Setup as the Default, making it possible to overrule the current default (Quick Setup)?
I find it super annoying to select Advanced Setup every single time.
Would be great if every User could decide on his own wether he wants Quick or Advanced.

 

This feature is just needed here and now, it's a good PVE game, and I really want to go racing with a friend.

Well, I would like not 32 cars, but 50 as in a single-player game.

 

Would love to see wind-screen tear offs. Noticed my windscreen is getting pretty dirty.

Sorry if this has been mentioned recently.
I think it would be really useful if we had the option to disable certain weather conditions. To be able to set up a race session where it may or may not have some light rain at some point would really add to the emersion I feel

 

Wait they finally added this? I have only seen the car get dirty but never the windscreen itself - Just the already applied scratches

 

Are you sure you don't have windscreen dirt disabled in the settings ?

One of the few things the game has gotten worse in compared to recent years is the controller vibration.

We lost the vibration when driving over most of the curbs on the tracks, and we also lost the gear shift vibration for those of us playing with automatic transmissions.

I don't know how difficult it would be to re-implement the vibration, but it would be appreciated if you could fix it.

By the way, the controller handling itself is very good, but it lacks vibration.

 

One thing I'm missing is more variety and creativity in weekly events. I'm okay if they are just time trials, but they are all at the same time of the day with perfect weather.
It would be interesting to have some crazyness there. Like a F vintage in a RX track in a storm. Or karts at night at the airport, etc.

I just saw this - Is this still the case because in my 400 hours i never seen any dirt added to the windscreen like in iracing or lmu

The referenced setting does not enable or disable the effect, it is on regardless. It reaches a maximum of dirtiness after approx 1hr, could this be scaled to race length? I regularly run 2hr+ races and the effect is overkill especially without a tear off or "screen clean" in the pits. Alternatively just allow it to be disabled.

Please update the following things:

- Porsche 992 GT3 R - Onboard camera display (currently compl. missing)
- Porsche 992 GT3 R - Steering wheel lit (the red/green/blue circles are intermittently/divided into "cubes" lit)
- Audi R8 GT3 EVO II dashboard design ( the white-black mode is gone, currenty only black version exist)

Here are a few more ideas that have probably already been mentioned. But 150 pages are probably hard to find.
1.Lumirank in the GT Cars.
2.Revision of the multiplayer including the server tool. So a complete revision.
3.Inserting missing Ferraris as Milanos in different classes
