Hope we can see all the vehicles and tracks from the pre-set events in the championship mode~ Also wish there could be more custom slots (currently only 5 available). Sorry, but this is totally on you guys – you've just given us way too many cars and tracks to choose from!

Yeah great idea. I'd be happy with this and imagine it might be easier to introduce as well. For me, the sudden arm movements in VR are distracting and take away from the immersion. Having an option would be terrific. I'd still love to see the animations anticipate gear changes but I understand it might be difficult to accomplish.

I'd like to see the option to allow/disallow use of drs for all cars during a race, would make le Mans with the p1 gen2 cars a bit more balanced

In order to improve immersion in endurance/multiclass racing, we should have the option to map a button for pulsating headlights when coming up on a slower car.

IF Nascar cars come to Ams2 it will instant become the best nascar sim, since it have the best damage model of the SIM Racing after Beamng, it also have caution, and they have Chevrolet license, but imo many usa tracks have to come before like COTA, Charlotte Road and Oval, Bristol, Texas was in PC2 so who knows

If it’s possible to suppress the driver neck on helmet cam view, this will help for those who want to recreate driver eye view without the neck appearing inside the helmet when braking or on elevation changes (like Eau Rouge), this breaks immersion.

When exiting a MP lobby I'd like to be sent to the main MP lobby pages instead of being booted back to the main menu.

The ability to change the tire sidewalls via xml, this would be easy to implement and means cars with goodyear sponsors can actually have goodyear tires (as an example)

I would love to save the setting for the wheel (on/off/static/animated...) on a per car basis. For some cars I have the static wheel enabled because it includes a dashboard, but for some cars it is just not needed or even obscures the dashboard behind it.
When I drive a different car that requires a different setting from the one before I first have to exit from driving, go back to the main menu and change the setting, unless I remember the required setting for every car. Can be a bit tedious sometimes.

I hope the affinity section can display more data such as vehicle mileage, track mileage, and playtime—maybe 10 or 20 entries. After all, the game has such rich content. Only seeing the top three feels a bit limited, don't you think? Of course, the ideal solution would be to include data like driving duration and mileage directly in the vehicle selection interface, which would make it much more intuitive.

Hi guys, I would like a Carrera Cup Gen2 for AMS2, with the 992.1 and the 992.2 GT3 Cup. It is very popular in I Racing, for example, and would be a cool addition to the SIM.

I would also like an online driver change, an indicator, a flasher and I would love it if you could set the pit stops better via the ICM menu. Means adjusting tire pressures, Accurate repairs, Cleaning the window for endurance races.

Love this Simulation so much but These things Are so Important. Thank you!

Obviously, online multiplayer is not AMS's strongest suit, but I believe player interaction in sim racing shouldn't be limited to real-time head-to-head battles. Beyond short sprint races, most of the time players are challenging themselves—pushing against their own cars and the clock, with hardly any other vehicles sharing the same screen. I'm thinking, based on the existing hotlap feature, could we introduce a long-distance race ghost timestamp system? That way, more players could join in the competition. This could be rolled out as special events, like endurance races, so the rivalry isn’t confined to just single-lap contests. If tracking players’ exact positions is too heavy on server resources, maybe it could be simplified to just a single timestamp for us to chase. Honestly, a feature like this would be truly one-of-a-kind in the sim racing world—just as unique as AMS’s own racing legacy. Plus, right now, AMS is the one with the most resources and potential to bring it to life. It would be even better if there were a save function, allowing segmented uploads of timestamps. All variables that could affect the save function could be fixed within the event settings, preventing players from making random adjustments and then reporting bugs. Everything else is already solid.

    Hello,

I would love to see the Peugeot 9x8 and the Toyota GR01 in AMS2.

New tracks could also be added, as it's been a year since any new tracks have been added to the game (the STT and historic tracks aren't new). Tracks like Bahrain and Yas Marina to represent the Middle East, and street circuits like Las Vegas, Miami, Detroit, and Surfers Paradise would be great to diversify the content.

Formula E and a 2005 Formula car would also be interesting, in my opinion.

Thank you for your passion conveyed in AMS2, which is my favorite simulation.

    Hi Guys,
I would like to have the function that you can save the settings for your multiplayer lobby as a file and then load them. Like the car setups

Based on Game Build: 1.6.8.5 (Historical Endurance 2005 DLC)
Request Title: Add pit-stop time when changing seats with the AI.
Description: Yea, I know. Not many people enjoy changing seats with the AI. But some people do. When I do long endurance races I like to put the AI in control for one or two stints, more for realism and immersion rather than strategy.
But as for now, changing seats takes less than 1 second. It would be nice if this option would add, I don't know, maybe 30 to 40 seconds to the pit stop.
Also, changing seats must follow the rules of the real category. For example, if I'm not mistaken, on WEC you can't change tires or refuel during the driver swamp. But on IMSA you can change tires and refuel while drivers are swapping.
Benefits: It would benefit me, which must be the only player in the entire AMS2 community who enjoys sharing the car with a virtual companion. But it would also benefit a few other lunatics who enjoy realism and immersion.

I believe that some endurance races also have a minimum total pit stop time as well.

Did you follow the recently concluded LMU 24-hour race? It was an absolute mess, met with widespread criticism. A large number of drivers were kicked offline—imagine racing for 20 grueling hours only to get disconnected, and then the entire team being unable to rejoin the race. After driver changes, car repairs were impossible; after handing over the wheel, teammates were unresponsive... In short, it was pure chaos. And the organizers didn’t even issue an apology.

Well, see? This seems to be the inevitable fate of going all-in on online endurance racing. Striving for a 24-hour real-time online experience only leads to most spectators keeping their distance and a vocal minority slamming the event. This is the stark reality we're facing. Going all-out on online modes consumes limited resources, leading to the neglect of single-player AI and rich content—ultimately, the losses outweigh the gains.

As I mentioned in my previous post, with just one percent of the cost of online infrastructure, we could implement ghost racing—a virtual multiplayer substitute that compensates for the weaknesses of online modes while making endurance content truly shine. The actual experience would be very similar to online endurance racing, but everyone could participate, starting and stopping whenever they want, at their own pace.

Great suggestion. However it only makes sense if the AI competition has a driver swap, the associated pit stop rules and penalties. Max stint times would need to be implemented. ACC does this reasonably well but AI stint times are poorly calculated and easily exploitable by the player. It would be a fantastic addition to the race weekend and the upcoming career mode for endurance racing, and or, invitational events where the player was invited to be part of an endurance driver team.
