Yes - exactly that! But, I don't know how to do it in SimHub. I've never used it, actually...

With AMS2 we can now drive everything. I simply wish that the multiplayer mode in AMS2 would be further improved. The dream would be 40 drivers in multiplayer with NASCAR cars... sorry, I'll stop dreaming... :p but it would be absolutely wonderful to experience it in AMS2.A preview from you in 2026 regarding multiplayer would be great.

Would be nice to have a way for cars that have H-patterns or “stick”-based sequential shifters to disable the incar graphics/visual of the “driver” reaching for the shifter. I only use the paddle shifters on my wheel and find the visual distracting. I know I can turn the “arms” off, but I like the arms as it helps with VR immersion

For bussiness and marketing, with all the work in tyres, I believe now it's time for drift cars and tracks and make more money.

I would like to see the manufacturers logo on the timing display in the new HUD.
Being able to change cars (at least in the same class) in test day without leaving the session would also be nice

Please add ability to bind controls for the new free camera, rather than just WASD. Thanks.

Could you please include the option in the advanced setup screen to scroll down to read the whole text of setup option? Please see the screenshot below for an example. Thank you for considering this feature.

Not sure if this is even a thing with the new HUD, but a Real Time Clock in VR would be handy. So I know when it's bed time!

Yes, this was asked recently as well. This would be great for VR players.

I have recently discovered I find it more immersive to turn driver off, just have animated wheel.
The desync of my arm and virtual arm changing gears is much more immersion breaking than no arms at all. In fact, I soon forget I'm missing a body anyway.

I think it would be nice if side mirrors could break off or be folded in like seen here:

This would add to the intensity of side-by-side-battles and would turn mirrors on the inside of the car into a valuable backup. (Folded-in mirrors could automaticly reset during pit stops.)

While we are at it, why not 'deactivate' the rear camera of modern cars when receiving too much damage to the back bumper? Or add a damage system for digital displays and LEDs inside the car like AC Rally so the displays start to flicker and/or turn off after additional damage to the car.

At the moment the inside of the car feels a little to safe in my opinion (although the broken glass textures are a great step-up). Are these changes still realisitc for 2025? :p

I’d like to throw out a few suggestions that I think would help the overall experience:
    1. VR controller menu support
Adding VR controller support for menu navigation would be great—mainly as a mouse cursor and left-click function. Outside of menus, I don’t really see a need for them. For those of us racing in VR, it often means constantly switching between VR controllers (for streamer apps, SteamVR, AirLink, etc.) and then back to a mouse or trackpad once in-game. Being able to handle menus entirely with VR controllers would make things much faster and more convenient.

    2. Separate wheel menu bindings
It would be nice to have menu bindings for wheels that are separate from car control bindings. This could even reduce the need for VR controllers, though having both options would still be ideal. I’m using a Moza R5, and none of the buttons work in the menus—I believe this is because they’re already bound to car controls. I assume this affects other wheels as well.

    3. Return to lobby during sessions
Being able to exit back to the lobby during practice, qualifying, or even a race would be very helpful. Currently, backing out early sends you all the way back to the main menu. If someone wants to switch cars mid-practice or qualifying, or if everyone decides to change tracks, returning to the lobby would make that possible without restarting everything.

    4. Save multiplayer session setups
Having the ability to save multiplayer session setups—including name, password, and all settings—would be a huge quality-of-life improvement. Multiple saved setups would be even better. I tend to run the same configurations, and it would be nice to launch them quickly without having to triple-check that nothing reverted to a default. I usually don’t realize something was missed until the session starts, and fixing it isn’t easy because of the issue mentioned in #3.

    5. Adjust opponent settings from the lobby
Being able to adjust AI opponent settings (difficulty, aggression, number of cars, etc.) directly from the lobby would be extremely helpful. Right now, if the AI is too aggressive or there are too many cars, you have to exit the lobby and start the entire setup process over. Saved setups (#4 above) would help, but making these adjustments in-lobby would be even better.

    6. Practice-only or opt-out race option
It would be great to have the option to skip the race when setting up a multiplayer session, or to create a practice-only mode with or without AI. Sometimes it’s nice to just do practice laps with friends. That said, this might be less necessary if a “return to lobby” option were added, since you could exit and restart as needed.

    7. LH drive option or MX-5 Cup–style car
A left-hand drive option for the Ginetta G40 Cup car would be awesome, especially for those used to LH drive cars and racing in VR. If that’s not possible, adding something similar to a Mazda MX-5 Cup car (like a Reiza MX-5 Cup) would be fantastic. Small, low-horsepower cars with H-pattern gearboxes are a blast to drive—they feel more connected and tend to race really well.

    8. AI aggression on dedicated servers
I’ve experimented with a dedicated server to work around some of the issues above. While it helps, I noticed there’s no option to adjust AI aggression on the server.

    9. Lock AI strength on dedicated servers
AI strength on dedicated servers doesn’t always stay locked to the number you've set. I often have to check it, shut the server down, and restart—sometimes multiple times—before it sticks.

    10. Add a Linux version of a dedicated server I do like Linux and think it would be great to run a dedicated server using Linux.

    11. Barber Motorsports Park
I mentioned in another post, but adding Barber Motorsports Park would be amazing. It’s a beautiful track with great scenery and a really fun layout.
Some of these features may already exist and I may have missed them, but these are areas I’ve personally struggled with, which is why I wanted to mention them.

Overall, I think these changes would make navigating menus and running races in AMS2 even better. I’ve switched to AMS2 as my main sim and have been blown away by how fun it is—the graphics, the VR experience, everything. It’s an awesome game already, but I really believe additions like these would really help it out and I’m sure a lot of people would welcome them as well.

Just checking the new update and especially the new beta HUD.

TBH I enjoyed the old hud regarding laptimes / race position / relative times : the readability at a glance was perfect. There was no need to put a layer of grey behind it to make it more readable.

But in general, 1 thing sorely missing from all hud elements is the ability to resize them, or at least have a few options like "small, medium, large" because on a 1080p monitor some of the hud elements look insanely big.

With the old ones readability was so good that I could wish to resize them into smaller boxes and make the screen look cleaner while still having all that information available.

The new UI triest to look more pleasing or "aesthetic" but for me personally, customization and functionality are always above. Having HUD elements so big they start covering the gameplay I'm trying to see is a bit of a challenge. Chaging element sizes would be a huge improvement.

    I'll second this.
There's some great onboard camera angles, but when you select them in replay mode, the view scrolls through several other camera angles.
Very annoying, surely it's not difficult to be able to fix the camera on one angle?

The most under- represented class in all of sim racing.

That would be cool and to add to that, some historic tracks like Riverside, Mosport and Mid-Ohio to go with the Can-Am series please.

In many vehicles, the steering wheel obstructs the view of the dashboard, so it would be desirable to add options to adjust the position and size of the steering wheel.

Unless I’ve missed the option, it would be great to have a rear facing camera or rear bumper camera in the replay. It would be nice to watch the replay looking back from the car I’m chasing.
