The Feature Request Thread...

Another feature I'd quite like is more dirt and rubber build up on the windscreen as the race progresses. I've noticed Le Mans Ultimate does this in quite a subtle way and it's a nice feature.

Also, the windscreen itself seems to be invisible. It would be a nice feature to have a little bit of reflection from inside the car back onto the windscreen dependant on certain lighting conditions. I think it would add to the depth and immersion a little bit.

Would it be possible to add a "visual pit stop warning" for races where a mandatory pit stop is required? When racing with the community in live streams I've noticed that MANY drivers who haven't checked the "Race Setup" get DQ'd for not pitting or not pitting correctly within the pit window. Drivers who are running Crew Chief get verbal pit window warnings, so, it would be a great addition to have "visual warnings" within the race itself.

I'd like to have a way to change the preset of the automatic gear box on i.e. Audi R8 or Corvette C8 Supercars to off?
I always have to go into setup to disable this. I just don't like this and want to turn it off once and for all.

 

I second this. A gameplay setting to override the default would be great. It is possible to disable it in-car using the ICM if you forgot to disable it in the setup screen, but it's still annoying to have to do this.

 

Can we please request a quick fix for the auto refuel missing issue? It has become a big problem, because not only cars need to refuel in medium length fixed setup online races, but because different players automatically get different fuel loads than others at the start, it also often happens that only some of the cars need to pit for fuel and others not..

At LFM there are already a lot of complaints about that. They will also start a new season in a week from now, would be great if the issue is fixed by then!

And of course, best wishes for even further AMS2 success in 2026!

A few requests from myself and the YouTube community during today's live stream;

• An in session Pit Stop "counter" next to the names on the in practice/qualifying/race leader boards.
• An in session (practice/qualifying/race) tyre indication (Soft/Med/Hard/Wet) for you/your competitors, agaijn maybe on the leader boards.
• Tyre pressures are "PSI" in vehicle setup but "BAR" in the Pit Setup, please set the same units for both.
• New HUD, please add a time/lap countdown in the 'session date/time/weather section'.

Would be nice to have an option to disable HALO on the formula cars completly like it is possible on AC Evo. Currently when you disbale HALO in AMS2 it is semi-transparent, which looks somewhat unattractive. Accordingly, three levels would be nice: off, transparent, and on.

 

I would like to be able to display the current weather as a HUD throughout a session, and also the time. To avoid the unnecessary HUD clutter on the screen, I would also appreciate the option to switch the display to the next HUD using the steering wheel controls, so I can see more information. The replay function already allows for some display functionality.

 

My two cents here, but I think it would be pretty cool to have the windscreen get dirty enough to the point where you have to request a tearoff for the next stop.

 

I would like to request a feature addition, where the pit request button reserves the pitbox for the driver that hits the pit request button 1st.
During multiplayer races on certain tracks, where the pitboxes are shared between cars. It would be nice to have a pitbox reserve feature where the pitbox becomes occupied by the driver that hits Request Pitstop button 1st. That way another driver who doesn't request a pitstop can't drive into the pitbox and occupy the pitstall before the driver who requests the pit request 1st. Even if the pitstall is empty, perhaps they can be shown, "Pit stall reserved" until the car that requested the pit request has either:
1. Completed their pitstop
2. Or driven past the start/finish line resetting the pit request and opening the pitstall.

With a career being mentioned as coming this year, I find myself playing a lot of ACRally simply be wise of the medal system.
Being given a track, car and and having a goal to achieve has been so pleasurable as it gave me motivation, reason and took away from my comfort zone of same car/track combos.

Would AMS2 get something like this before career arrives? It’s very simply to do, the team at ACR said it was implemented very quickly and easily and also add new medals every month, along with content, cars, tracks features etc.

Since AMS2 has so much content could we also receive a medal type system for goals, or open this up and allow community goals to be created and shared via steam workshop etc.

I and many others find less of a reason to open AMS2 but a medal system with new goals, tasks, and reasons to jump in and try would be a fantastic addition and could really breathe some live into the single player / off line mode of the game.

 

Mid 80s turbo powered F1 cars should have adjustable boost from within the cockpit, not just in settings. Particularly in the 1984-1988 era tactically adjusting boost during the race to manage fuel consumption, to overtake and do under/overcuts was an essential part of the strategy.

 

I would like the ability to create a custom championship with just one car from a class. For example, using the Porsche Cayman from the GT4 class to create a spec Porsche Cayman custom championship which would mimic the real life Porsche Cayman GT4 championship.

 

I'd like to see a means of exporting and importing setups.

 

A pit board at the end of each lap would be a nice option, especially when running historic races.

 

An option to adjust the free camera speed would be fantastic.
