    One thing that I would wish for championships is to be able to set overall settings per championship rather than having to do so race by race (weather, p/q sessions and so on).

    Right now, I have a default championship, if I want to add another wheather slot or change the quali duration or race start times, I have to do so race by race.

    I do think we should still be able to override some settings race by race (for example AI level, I put it at 105 at Termas but 115 at Daytona or 110 at Monza) but the settings should be global.

    Previously in AMS 2 you could got to Options > Gameplay > Authenticity and you could set Tire Blankets to Always On. Apparently this ability was removed for some reason. I personally don't care about realism in connection with my tire temperatures. I want them to be in the Green when I start any session.

    I would like to see this feature return so I can adjust a particular settings file to always have tires up to temperature for both Practice and Qualifying. This would be most helpful!

    Request:
    Allow access for motion telemetry levels to be set per car class, similar to FFB.
    Currently when motion is set up so it's good in GT3 and you switch to F USA 2023 you get shook to death

    From your latest developer preview, you stated that AMS2 is very much used casually over competitive racing. I am in a very casual friendly group of drivers, who like to meet up to race together. We would very much like to use AMS2 more, but have suffered too many issues with just trying to run a "casual" and friendly race league.
    One of the things that is holding back the use of AMS2 in our league racing is the dedicated server tool. I will list 6 items that would change the usage of AMS2 for our racing and listed them in importance. I've mentioned 2 of these before, but since then, we have had further tests in multiplayer, that have raised other issues.

    Very Important:
    1) Make the dedicated server the host. Currently the first person in the lobby becomes the host. If they have poor internet connection, then other drivers suffer with latency issues, as all traffic goes via the host to the server and back. If my understanding of this is wrong then please do correct me. But through our testing, this seems to be the case.

    Important:
    2) Include a Warm-up session to allow the grid to be manually adjusted by an administrator. We like to run a multiple races and sometimes set the grid for race 2 based off of race 1 and then a reverse grid on race 3.
    3) Session results are saved to XML \ JSON files on the dedicated server. This will allow the server admin to edit \ check if required before uploading to any league web site.

    Nice to have:
    4) Allow the game to have a driver profile that accepts a drivers real name (First Name \ Last Name). This can be a toggle switch for the dedicated server to show these in game instead of the nickname that comes from Steam. I'm sure other leagues have a real name requirement. We don't all want our real names showing up as our Steam profiles.
    5) Have an 'Add AI' \ 'Remove AI' command for the admin to increase the current field, rather than the calculation of 'Grid Size - Max Human Players'. This makes it easier for the admin to add AI on the night depending on who turns up to race.
    6) Allow AI driver names to be updated on the dedicated server. Same as how single player car skins are added currently. This adds immersion for when we recreate different F1 seasons.

    A minor request regarding the implementation of mechanical failures and reliability:

    It'd be great to have an option to have the game use the selected car skin's vehicle reliability modifier from the custom AI file when the player is driving. AFAIK the current random failures option affects both the player and AI? So if you turn that high to simulate driving for a really unreliable team in a series, all of the AI becomes super unreliable as well.

    When the option to edit individual car performance (done through the AI file as well?) mentioned in the dev update arrives, I think it's also important to have the option for the edits to affect the player as well based on the selected car skin to have the AI and championship files as balanced or plug and play as possible.

    A quality of life improvement would be the ability in menus (single race or custom championship) to set race distance in kilometres. Currently we can set number of laps, but if we change tracks we need to look at the layout distance and reset the number of laps based on calculation (or guesswork). Or we can just use time and leave it the same as that's more convenient, but timed races feel somewhat unnatural for many classes of car.
    In the menus if we could set for example distance = 100km, then when you open the specific race you get the number of laps that corresponds to it would be more convenient. It would be much quicker to set up a custom season - for example some historical F1 year where all the races were 305km except Monaco.

    Massive thank you to the Reiza team for the upcoming waving flag marshals! This has been bothering me for years, so happy i am now at peace! also cant wait to see what the crowd effect and driver animations are. Well done! I bought this title for £80 back when it came out, so great to see things get better and better!

    Now that the ability to share championships is on the horizon, it would be good if the creation of these could be more detailed, for example, choosing each of the drivers and which car they will use, the ability to assign an image to the championship (and not just the image of the car), perhaps configuring the BOP (balance of performance) to have more competitive championships.

    If things are happening with championships, it would be nice to allow there to be a "guest" class in certain races in custom championships (or even the main ones). So for example I do a GT championship of whatever era but when we get to Le Mans or Daytona there are also prototypes in the race and maybe GTs from other continents. But when we do a track like historic Monza that for some reason has only 26 grid slots you wouldn't set any guest class, or also for example Hockenheimring that was often part of the world championship for GT cars but not the world championship for prototypes (or vice versa for the Buenos Aires 1000km which was prototypes only with no GTs making the trip).
    This would be nice because with the coming classic Le Mans expansion and with the exception of the Targa Florio public circuit, the game already has everything it needs to simulate the 60s and 70s endurance scene, also given a few mods.
    EDIT also old school F1 seasons where the F2 cars join the grid but just for Nurburgring.

    I'm really happy with the update and very excited what Reiza adds to the already bulging content list.

    I love the AMS-universe idea where we shouldn't expect entire fields of cars officially released by Reiza, but I would like to point out the usefulness of generic models included to beef out categories and classes. For example if we get 3 actual super tourer cars I'd also like two (or however many) more generic models to fill out the grid. Some of the formula classes are like this and it adds a lot for variety.

    Also can you please add Scotland as a nationality option? Thanks :D

    Talking about immersion, AMS 1 has a feature that is quite simple, but I really enjoy anyway, which is during a qualy or practice, if you leave the garage early you find the red light at the end of the pit lane and you have to wait. Also the session time only starts when the light goes green.

    It may sound a bit silly, but that was quite immersive to me.

    Now that you say this... Didn't AMS2 have this at some point? I am pretty sure they had it. Maybe they removed it.

    Is there any chance we can get 32 pit stalls at the Fontana road course? Would love to include it in various American championships but am a bit confused about why the oval version gets a full 32 and the road version doesn’t. (If there’s some realism/historical reason, let me know, but I feel like an extra two slots isn’t gonna kill anyone.)

    Install mod via contents manager, then open [tracks],[fontana_scc] folder. open trd file. change value of <prop name="Max AI participants" data="[Edit HERE]" />
    Note: Grid start is not work with extended, Rolling is OK

    Hi there. New to AMS2 and love it, got most of DLC's. What i miss for complete fulfillment ist the possibility to download user-generated liverys like in Forza and i'd love a JGTC-Carpack with those SuperGT GT500/GT300 Skylines(R34), Supras, RX-7s, NSXs and more.

    Probably been said before but would be great to get some "pit life" at some point, like loads more people standing around in the pits like in AC and ACC etc, i've just finished a race and came in after a long race to a empty pit lane, would be nice to have some busyness to the area etc.

    REQUEST: Toyota Dream Pack DLC

    • Toyota GR010 Hybrid (LMDh class);
    • Toyota GR Supra GT3 (GT3 gen. 2 class);
    • Toyota GT-One TS020 (late 90s GT1 class);
    • Toyota TS050 Hybrid (new LMP1 Hybrid class)
    This DLC would not only fill some important gaps, such as the Hypercar class, but would also open a path for a new endurance DLC focused on the late 2010s endurance era.
    This new DLC could feature both the Audi and Porsche hybrid LMP1s, new GTE or GT3g1 and a new DPi.

    Here's a concept art:
