The Feature Request Thread...

... I love this game and I've sunken a couple hundred (thousand?) hours into it. There is so much good I could say about it but there are also some things that have been bothering for a long time, that - in my humble opinion are long overdue. Some things are the car trains, especially in the open wheel classes, the pit flickers and pit crew bugs in general, the (not) assignable menu buttons, assignable fuel mixture buttons, ways to save multiplayer session settings, etc. etc. however...

... the most important issue to me is AI vs Player damage: Considering that Ai cars don't take as much damage as the player means I can't drive with damage on and have a fair racing experience. That virtually makes all the damage in the game a useless add-on.
(If it were at least a selectable option! I could live well with the whole field killing itself because of numerous crashes, as it would probably be in the current state)

I cannot stress how much I'm longing for this feature. It would take the whole game onto a completely new level.

The exterior sound of the cars is so brutal, loud, exalting... While the interior one is numb. I would it sooooo much to be able to simply swap the exterior sound to any view, pls Reiza!

 

My biggest issue from this being my 100% go to game is custom AI in multiplayer lobbies. This could be hands down the best coop game out there if we had this.

 

It would be really cool to have 3 additional random weather modes :
- random Wet with the 4 rainy weathers
- random Dry with all but the 4 above
- random Custom where a user would create his own selection

I’m a regular VR user on Automobilista 2 and I absolutely love the immersion and driving feel in this sim. However, I wanted to ask if it would be possible to implement a VR image stabilization option similar to what exists in Assetto Corsa.

In Assetto Corsa, there is a “neck fix” / VR stabilization feature (often referred to as a VR stabilizer) that allows the camera movement to be influenced more by the car’s chassis and less by the driver’s head movement.

What this does in practice is:

• Reduce excessive head bobbing
• Limit exaggerated cockpit shake
• Make the view feel more stable and natural
• Significantly improve comfort during long VR sessions

The result is that more of the movement comes from the car itself rather than from artificial driver head motion, which makes the experience much more comfortable and realistic in VR.

Currently in AMS2, the head movement can sometimes feel a bit too reactive to suspension and car motion, which may reduce comfort for some VR users. An adjustable stabilization slider (for example: helmet lock %, horizon lock %, or neck stabilization strength) would be an amazing addition.

Is this something that could be considered in a future update?

Please add correction for curved ultrawide or triple projection for same reason. I have to use reshade now to correct the distortion, but it also messes up the UI.
