Here is a few suggestion for improvements on the damage and mecanical faillure system :
    - tyre Puncture
    - gearbox issue ( get stuck in 4th gear for example)
    - for modern Formula, would be cool to have floor and sidepods damage
And please if you can rework the contact model between player and AI drivers, on Oval Racing It doesn't matter that it is the AI who touch the player or the contrary its ALWAYS the player who Will start spinning or go in the wall
Thanks Reiza for what you did already ;)

Indeed there should be a few more weather patterns or the current ones have more adjustments. Like why can we not have such a thing as "distant thunderstorm" ? I am sure i do not need to explain how real weather works, but it is perfectly realistic for there to be distant thunder without any rain. It would definitely look very cool visually too. Not just that but it would obviously lead to lower temperatures so affect the race in that way.

Will we get these new offset t-cams on all formula cars? New ones have them, hybrid gen 1 does, but not 2 or 3. I hope all get it as it's great on controller.

    Hello folks, just joined in.
I love AMS2 for immersive singleplayer experience.
With recent release of NASCAR vehicles, I can already see it could be a game that might finally replace NR2003 for me only if:

Oval AI gets a bit more tweaks to its behaviour
Definitely more Oval tracks, imagine re-creating full or almost full nascar cup season from 2000's or earlier.
    Maybe addition of Gen4 car?

I am aware that licensing is a pain, and AMS2 is mostly road racing ( which i love too ), but that release of Nascar cars earlier just makes me want more =)

I would like to see real names for the A.I and performances in multiplayer... is this even still on the massive 2 do list? or has it been brushed into the recycle bin

    Hi everyone,

I know AMS2 has earned a very special place among sim racers who love driving retro and historic cars. And honestly, I think Reiza does this better than anyone else.

But my personal wish is: please don’t forget the “modern drivers” as well. In recent years, I sometimes feel that this area has not moved forward as much as it could. AMS2 has such a strong foundation, and I think adding more modern racing content and improving some broadcast, multiplayer and technology features would make it even more complete.

Here is my personal AMS2 wish list:

    1. More modern racing series
Modern WTCC/WTC, TCR, Cup cars, and current smaller formula series such as F4, F3, F2, or maybe even Dallara-style series would be a fantastic addition.

I think this would bring more variety and serve a wider range of drivers — not only those focused on historic content, but also players who enjoy modern touring cars, cup racing and junior formula categories.

    2. Improved weather system with probability sliders
The weather system is already one of the most exciting parts of AMS2, but I would love to see more control and unpredictability.

For example, a 0–100% probability slider per weather slot would be amazing.

So instead of “Slot 2 = rain for sure”, we could set something like “Slot 2 = 40% chance of rain”. That would create much more tactical uncertainty and realism, especially for league racing and longer events.

It would make races much more dynamic without forcing rain every time a rain slot is selected.

    3. Continue improving multiplayer and sporting regulations
Please keep improving the multiplayer side of AMS2: make it even more reliable, more detailed and more professional.

It would also be great to see the existing sporting-code style rules further implemented and refined, closer to real-world racing. Things like race control logic, penalties, pit rules, blue flags, full-course yellows, safety car behavior and general race procedure could make online racing feel much more authentic and serious.

For leagues and organized races, this would be a huge step forward and absolutely brilliant.

    4. Better TV cameras, replay presentation and a proper live spectator tool
I would love to see improvements to the TV cams for streaming, as well as the visual behavior of the cars in replays and live broadcasts.

The cars should look more realistic, smoother, and more natural from external cameras. This would make AMS2 much stronger for league streams, broadcasts and content creators.

Also, a proper live spectator tool for professional and easy streaming would be a fantastic addition. If I remember correctly, this was mentioned or promised around 4–5 years ago, so please don’t forget about it.

    5. DLSS and further graphics improvements
Please keep pushing the graphics technology forward. DLSS support and further optimization of modern graphics standards would be very welcome.

AMS2 still looks great, but I really hope it does not stand still in this area. Modern rendering features, better performance options and continued graphics improvements would help keep the sim competitive for the coming years.

    Those are my personal wishes.
I really love what AMS2 already does, especially with historic content, but I think these additions would make it even more complete for all types of sim racers.

Please consider adding an optional "Historic Pit Board" HUD mode.

Instead of a permanent HUD, a pit board would appear briefly (5–10 seconds) each time the player crosses the start/finish line or passes the pit wall, displaying only essential race information such as:

    • Position
    • Current lap / total laps
    • Gap ahead
    • Gap behind
    • (Optional) Last lap time
The board would then disappear until the next lap.

This would not replace the existing HUD—only provide an optional, more immersive alternative.

AMS2 has some of the best historic content in sim racing (Formula Junior, Formula Vintage, historic touring cars, classic circuits, etc.), and this would greatly enhance the feeling of racing those cars without requiring permanent on-screen information or third-party overlays.

    Benefits:

    • More immersive historic racing
    • Cleaner, less intrusive HUD option
    • Useful for both VR and flat-screen users
    • Period-correct race information without sacrificing accessibility

    Hi everyone,

I would like to suggest a small visual improvement for night racing in Automobilista 2: stronger glow/bloom from the digital dashboards and LED panels inside the cars.

At night, many racing dashboards are very bright and create a soft colored light spill inside the cockpit, especially around the display and nearby surfaces. I made a quick AI test based on an in-game screenshot just to illustrate the idea, and I think this kind of glow could make the cockpit view feel more immersive and realistic during night and rainy conditions.
Of course, it should still keep the dashboard readable and not overexposed, but a bit more bloom and light emission from the panels would add a lot to the atmosphere.

Thanks for the great work on AMS2!

I don't have a special offer for today's UI, because it needs to be changed totally, it has a lot of bugs and bugs to date, even on the server side, but I have a request for fixes for today!

    1.
    Request Title:
Remove the small window when searching for servers.

Description: It does not work properly, and blocks access to the buttons in the server menu. To open the "Filters" tab, you need to go to the previous menu (sometimes it is several times until the servers load and the small notification closes). Sometimes the server simply does not load, and again you have to go back and repeat again. If you click the "Cancel" button, you will be reset to the previous menu, and the only way out is to find the moment when the servers will boot up and the small server search window will close.

    Benefits: Improving life.

    2.
    Request Title:
Solve the "ghost car" problem in Dedi.

Description: The first car selected by the host is tied to the settings of the available classes in the future race, and pursues the entire rotation (If you use sms_rotate).

The multi-class race just doesn't work!

And if you use bots for extras, then, for example, in the following situation:
-The GT3 race has ended, the next one should be on Karting cars, after rotation on the kart track, the GT3 class will remain in the server class mixed with karts. If AI filling is set, then karting will be diluted with GT3 by drivers. It's terrible.

And it seems that this is due to a bug or lack of improvement inside the UI, a garage, choosing a car in a single session, something like that. Since when creating a multi-class race server from the game menu, the selected class from the single-player mode remains in the parameters of the active car with the host itself, it is also added to the classes available for the race. At first, you may wonder why it appears, but later it can be found active in the server class selection menu and disabled.

And it's just incredible, it's been broken for a long time.

Benefits: Improved server performance. Improving life. Full-fledged working function.

    3.
    Request Title:
Add "multi-button" mode. And the effect of the "pressed key".

Description: At the moment, only one key can be assigned to one command in the button menu. The suggestion is to add the possibility of keyboard shortcuts.

    For example:
    - With the #19 key pressed, I could use the seat position control with the #1,2,3,4 keys, and with the #20 key with the same combination #1,2,3,4 to control the balance of the brakes and ABS, etc.

The Keypressed effect should work like this:
I need to look at the telemetry indicator, or the position in the grid, for this I need to hold down the assigned key to display/change the HUD, so that the menu would appear for 5-10 seconds.

Also, this will allow you to assign keys from the "Crew Chief" application to the rudder buttons to work with TTS.

    This is sorely missed!

Benefits: This will simplify and even improve the driving experience, improve functionality with equipment, comfort from the game and variety.

Yes please. The existing pitboard which is currently only used for calling cars into the pits for damage does correctly appear in VR - and I have found trying to get 3rd party stuff like simhub working with openkneeboard is a pain.

If the existing pitboard could be adapted to come up for 5 seconds after crossing the line, showing Laps or Time remaining, Position (as it does now), then the lower lines could show opponent names and gaps for the cars ahead and behind, then it would be fantastic.

I love creating videos from replays for my driver avatars to build a multi-game career mode with its own lore and everything. The thing is, camera freedom in AMS2 is pretty limited. Silverstone Historic, for example, gets really boring. There’s a cool position to the right side, just outside the cockpit when you click 'cockpit cam' in replay, it looks like an old-school onboard cam, but it keeps cycling to other positions. I read about these limitations, but I refuse to believe you can't freely move a camera in this engine! Other than that, it's pure fun. Let's que Let's!

I think there was once an update that stopped the cameras cycling, not sure what happened afterwards. Maybe it broke something else.

    Car Saving State during Practice & Qualifying;

When in those sessions it would be good if your car wasn't reset when you exit back to Pits, by that I mean the Oil Temps, Brake Temps, Tyre Temps etc stay as they were when you drove into your Pit Box. Currently the only way to stay in a "warm" car is to sit in the pit box and wait to go out again, but the second you exit to make Setup changes it seems to revert everything to "Cold".

So an Option to keep the Car State or Reset would be cool
(if this is already an option somewhere or I'm doing something wrong then please advise, thanks!)

You can press CTRL + F for a free view camera.
Or you can press CTRL + K twice for the option to adjust the camera view while driving (both 1st and 3rd person).

Do you have a YouTube channel?

Mister @Renato Simioni forgive my tag if is not allowed so I am deeply sorry , I found that the two last updates the game has make significant steps forward especially in gt3 gen 2 class which I am a big fan of this class . To be honest I am not own only ams2 but also LMU and iracing . The physics of the cars in ams2 has make huge steps forward really huge so the only thing that I feel that really is a gap to improve is the car sounds especially the onboard , I found them a little rough a scale of bass more lack the prima , if it were music a climax up . Details someone can tell but is an observation. Thanks in advance
