    It would be nice to have qualifying formats to choose from.
    e.g. Q1/Q2/Q3 System or Top Ten Shootout

    Custom scoring system for championship mode. It would especially nice for those who like fiddle with retro championship. e.g some old F1 or CART seasons.

    Request Title: Cars should ghost much sooner/earlier when getting close to them.
    Description: Qualifications are extremely important, and no one wants to have them ruined by some crazy kid blocking people on purpose or slow drivers. Instead of the car ghosting when you are 1 meter behind it, have it triggered 30 meters behind it instead.
    Benefits: Avoid the frustration of being stuck behind somebody trying to pass for half the track, just to find out that ghosting was on:(

    Request Title: Offline Race Logs
    Description: Unlike in AMS 1, we don't get race logs for offline races - info about lap times, when pit stops took place, fastest laps etc.
    Benefits: Let's us manage custom championships outside of AMS 2 and in much more detail.

    Request Title:
    Expand grid sizes
    Description: After some testing, i’ve concluded that the game supports up to 60 cars without any major issues. Here are two clips of me testing a full 60 car grid on bathurst:

    I’ve yet to go over 60 cars, but from initial testing this seems pretty much doable. The only problem i can think of right now is cars clipping inside each other in pit since two cars spawn in the same garage. But if i’m not mistaken, sometimes teams have to share garage space in real life as well. The fps hit is not severe, after the initial start, the fps stays around 60. I’m currently using an old laptop 4 core cpu and a 1050ti.
    Benefits: This lets us make bigger grids which is especially useful for simulating long endurance races (i.e. Daytona 24h, 24h of Spa)

    Is it possible to reduce the visible cars, thus easing the processing a little?

    No way to reduce the amount of visible cars afaik. But after the first lap, the field spreads out enough so most of the cars don’t get rendered anyways.

    Of course there can be a way - Options - Performance
    - Maximum Rendered Cars Ahead of Player
    - Maximum Rendered Cars Behind the Player

    Same with how they should friggin finally add the performance option "Max rendered headlights" so they won't be nuking everyone's PC by having 32 headlights fully rendered at all times.

    Request Title: Add a layout for Azure Circuit with an alternative old school chicane after the tunnel.
    Description: by removing the curbs and track cut detections, the chicane is transformed instantly into a terrifying lane changer at high speeds, very similar to how it was until 1985.
    Benefits: Low cost way of having a Monaco version that is closer to how it was between 1972 and 1985.

    Also increased the numbers of AI on some tracks which do not offer too many garage spots by default (Monza70, Spielberg77).
    No problem. AI are ghosting in pitlane, so also cars which are "into each others" in garage can drive out of pits.
    Was not the case in Rfactor or AMS1, where cars somehow exploded when sharing same garage spot.

    Can you specify if this is an online multiplayer request or single player? We barely get smooth FPS when there is 32 players online... going higher would be complete madness..

    Request Title: The number above other players' car should show qualification positions if avail, if not then current position, especially since we don't have blue flags.
    Description: The current position is almost useless since it's already shown in many HUD overlays already, thus doesn't provide additional insight.
    Practical Scenario:
    If a crash happens in T1 (extremely rare :whistle:) and the leaders of the race falls behind the slowest people, it's much easier to understand to let someone pass when you see they qualified 1st, 2nd, etc...
    Benefits: Good tool since we don't have blue flags.

    Guess "zakreezy" is talking about racing against AI, as in his video there are only AI names. And yes, I also tried races with higher amounts of opponents than track allows by default without any issue. Online racing of course is a different thing. Wasn't the maximum number of opponents 31 as well in the Project Cars games in multiplayer?

    There is going around a tutorial on how to create grids with more than 32 cars. Seeing the steps that have to be done, which is basically modifying the maximum value in memory that seems to take it from an enum. Would it be possible not from the game menu but from a configuration file to make this editable in a future version?. For players who want a stable product that works correctly, no changes would be noticeable, but for the rest of us who want to goa little further and at our own risk (performance problems, AI and so on) have a friendlier option, for example for race with grids of 100 cars at the Nürburgring?.

    Perhaps you are already working on it and maybe it has already been requested, but it would be very useful to have a tool that installs mods in AMS2.
    A further request would be to keep the personal records on each track in the simulator's memory.

    Request Title: Custom grid order in multiplayer
    Description: Grant the lobby host the ability to set a custom grid order in leu of qualifying.
    Benefits: This is a good backup in case a lobby crashes and drivers don't want to have to re-do qualifying or switch to random grid. This also allows for leagues to do qualifying sprints as separate races and then set the grid order.

    Request Title: Match tire pressures option in Pit Strategy
    Description: Add a match tire pressure button in the pit strategy menu which will match all your pit strategy tire pressures to your currently set ones.
    Benefits: Saves players the hassle of having to check tire pressures in their current setup and then try to remember them when setting a pit strategy.

    Request Title: Exit to lobby option in multiplayer
    Description: Add an option for players to return to lobby rather than exit to main menu in multiplayer sessions
    Benefits: Allows players to return to lobby to change cars or liveries. Allows the host to return to the lobby to change certain settings, kick players, and give broadcaster and race director roles during practice or qualifying. Currently, leagues that broadcast their races can't start practice/qualifying until the broadcaster and race director are in the lobby and the host gives them roles since they can't be given while the host is driving.
