Starting this month each Formula vehicle is under FFB review. Any output imbalance will be detected and corrected in time. This a continuation of the recent work mentioned in the latest changelog. Formula Classics are first in line..

more front wheel connection to the road feel in general for all cars would be ace, the fronts on most cars feel disconnected and like they are just gliding over the surface rather than biting in, dunno if thats possible with the game physics or code but thought i'd give my 2 cents, raceroom is the best example of how a wheel mixed with a little seat of pants feel feels when comparing to my limited experience

I dont experience this , and can feel the bite and reduction bite of front and rear tires quite evenly and pronounced, but that’s using Custom FFB of course.
    So I wouldn’t say it’s a physics short coming.

It certainly was an interesting read just how complex physics in racing sims has evolved into (and frankly most of it went right over my head). What i took from it was that the knowledge, commitment & passion people put into improving and wanting to improve sims from Developers to Modders. Ultimately, when the dust settles, this allows an idiot like myself to have the opportunity to virtually sample scenarios i could never have in reality. For example, what it would be like to thrash a 1200hp raw monster round the old Spa in varying conditions.

It took me two laps to get your time  first was on full boost and it killed the engine before the lap was done, second i lowered boost to 95 and got you :p @ramsay on the other hand can go away :p
For my own knowledge, how did you hide your ghost so i couldn't "steal" your setup?

Hopefully Newtonian. Anything more is surely overkill, plus if they people think they'll understand it, they won't!

Is this the same car as in AMS2? Because that looks like a boat  Is the AMS2 version any good (as in like real life physics)? Because i rather enjoy it right now. To see how it drives have a look at TT at Brasilia for my lap, its the only one there so isn't hard to find. This car looks and feels very plausible atm.

I think it was simulating the standard version of the car with its very soft suspensions.

Like one comment on that guy’s post. Has he ever driven the real deal or is it based upon a mod?

You mean Dawn Treader? He's driven the car a few years ago, you find his reply with regard to that further below in the tweets tread.

I didn’t know that. I thought he was just one who bases his opinion on other sims. Now I know he is legit, thank you.

Those Rl drivers had 1 thing in common back then,
esp with variable weather on same track.

I'm curious to sample @Richard Wilks work to get a sense of his point of view regarding physics. Can Mr Wilks or anyone suggest a sim/mod combination that demonstrates the best of his skills?

I quite enjoyed the BMW ProCar Series, the 1987 CART Indycars and the Apex Modding Ferrari 288 GTO conversion.
