To Reiza: What physics do you actually want?

Exactly this. I can't believe that anyone thinks the CART cars in the main release can be transformed with setup tweaks alone, and think the cars are fine as is. As far as videogames go, these are the worst oval cars I have ever driven. Rfactor 2, iracing, AMS1, NC2003 all simulate things differently, but imo they all fall within a plausible range. What I experience in AMS2 feels phoney and not very enjoyable at the moment.
Glad to see the developers agree the cars need overhauls and don't just listen to the yes men that think everything is always amazing.

 

It's just a dodgy default setup that's all , if you spend a month or two tweaking every combination of settings possible you can make them feel nearly believable!!
Kidding of course but it amazes me how often I've seen this response.

 

The physics are already very good in many cars. But there are still some cars that need improvement

 

One thing I will say about ovals and CART specifically is that the CART mod in AMS1 was amazing, and your boi did the physics on them so good things likely on the way.

 

you hear this excuse all the time, especially when you bring up that ams1 drives much better than ams2
