I'm surprised more people haven't voted for Betonschleife given that this thread has been up for a week now and almost 50 people voted for that layout in Petition to Reiza to add the 'Betonschleife' Layout to the Historic Nordschleife
    - not even @Gevatter has voted for it here? o_O

One reason could of course be that most people have more of a "nice to have, not want to have" mentality regarding alternative layouts?

To be honest, I included Betonschleife in my own list in this thread mostly because I thought it would help this thread gain traction...

Leaving out Monaco as we it seems we'll at least be getting a 1988 version.

    US Tracks
    • Long Beach GP c.1983 (Any of the older F1 layouts would do, however this still makes use of the larger pit lane as Reiza wants to improve grid sizes at all tracks.)
    • Long Beach GP c.1995
    • Laguna Seca c.1987 (i.e. the original layout)
    • Daytona 1970's
    • Indianápolis F1 GP Layout
    • Watkins Glen 1983 (With the Esses Chicane)
    Euro/Asian Tracks
    • Kansai Classic (Suzuka) 1970's
    • Betonschleife for Nurb 1970's
    • Spa 1994 (Spa 1993 but with the chicane on Eau Rouge)
    • Brands Hatch 1988 (With the chicane on Dingle Dell)
Also on a simular note, I would also like to propose 5 Tracks to get a reverse layout. (Just for fun)
    • Brands Hatch Reverse
    • Donington Park Reverse
    • Indy Road Course Reversed
    • Galeo Airport Reversed
    • Salvador Reversed with No chicanes.

I second the motions for historical versions of existing tracks that match up to the seasons portrayed by Reiza's historic content:

    1 & 2: Brands Hatch 1974 & 1986
    3: Long Beach 1978
    4: Watkins Glen 1978
    5 & 6: Azure 1978 & 1988
    7: Indianapolis GP 2001
    8: Nurburgring GP 1997

I'd also like to throw out adding in the other non-F1 British track which has gone through two fairly radical alterations which would be suitable for older/historic racing:

    9 & 10: Snetterton 1969 & 1989.

Just a heads up: been quite busy lately, but I still fully intend to process all the votes and have a tracker at the OP. Keep them coming! :)

    1. Long Beach as used by f1
    2. Nurburgring GP as it was in the 1996 season
    3. Monaco as it was in the 70s
    4. Monaco as it was in the 80s
    5. Barcelona 2018-abouts, with the tighter t10 hairpin
    6. Barcelona national

I can't come up with anything else I like. But I do have a thing to add.
One thing I would like to see very much is DRS zones on tracks that lack them, yet still do have suitable straights.
Such as Hockenheim Historic, Termas de Rio Hondo, Road America, Indianapolis. Deus Et Cetera.
My brain (the one what's probably riddled with some disorder) doesn't like racing the Formula Ultimates or Formula Reizas on tracks that don't have DRS zones. So...

    My preferences are as follows:
    1. Long Beach 1970s - preferably layout from 1976 or 1977 with start/finish and pits on Ocean Blvd.
    2. Long Beach 1990s - the layout as used from 1992-1998 that featured in the Indycar Racing games.
    3. Laguna Seca 1970s - original layout.
    4. Daytona 1970s - road course without bus stop chicane.
    5. Watkins Glen 1960s - layout used before addition of boot section.
    6. Monaco 1960s - original layout before addition of swimming pool complex.
    7. Brands Hatch 1970s - period atmosphere for vintage and retro cars.
    8. Hockenheim 1960s - circuit without chicanes.
    9. Buenos Aires 1970s - period atmosphere for vintage and retro cars.
    10. Ibarra 1970s - original layout.

Agree on that, my favourite version of Silverstone, I like the 1991 version a lot too but it feels strange using the F1 1988 cars and earlier on it, and the 1975 version is too primitive.

I converted a nice version of the 1988 Silverstone layout made for rFactor for personal use (not the Carrera 4 version) so that will keep me going for now.

Oh I would love if this version of Silverstone Historic 2001 would be "opened".
When I was an iRacing member this version was mostly prefered because its faster and the flow are much better than the newer versions.
Hope its obvious that its the 2 grey parts that should be opened.

ByTheWay: I have been watching F1 in GB twice from a camping chair in front row of Club corner. And every time it was this great layout.:D

OK the other 9 is here :D

I am all up for filling that F1 roster, so (in no order):

    Nürburgring GP ca 1997
Monza 1997 (zigzag chicane, but low kerbs)
Spielberg/A1 Ring 1997 (green kerbs, gravel traps)
    Silverstone 1988
    Brands Hatch ca 1986
    Long Beach late 70s
Interlagos early 90's (current one feels too new)
    Kansai/Suzuka 1988
    Montreal 1979-1986

    edit: I forgot the weirdest one; Monza 1972/73, with the still improvised Ascari and pit straight chicanes;
. Gotta love trees in the runoff area!
. These four trees are actually already present in the available 1971 track model.

Before today, I would've also said Interlagos 1991, and Barcelona 1991-1993, lol.

And with today's announcement I wonder if we are going to see all of those once Interlagos and Barcelona 91/93 come out? : )

Maybe they will include a Barcelona 1994 layout too, all they have to do is put in that dodgy move-able tyre barrier that Gachot crashed into and they had to stop the session to put it back in place. Would you go all out in letting it move if you tap it, or just have it unmoveable no matter what? ; )

I guess it could be relatively easy to add the temporary chicane modifications that were bolted-on, to Reiza’s upcoming Montreal ‘91 and already-existing Spa ‘93 too..
