Pedal thtottle axe joy+ is the same of my whell ( turn on the right ) axe joy+ Fanatec CSW V2.5
Someone can help me ? thx

 

EDIT: I did a "Verify integrity of game files" on Steam, found 5 files that needed to be corrected.
After it, looks like the issue is gone because I did 4 types of races (one of them 1h endurance) and none of it had this slow acceleration issue.
I'll keep racing to see if the issue appears again, but it looks like the problem it's solved

So I'm having a problem with acceleration since update v1.6.8.6

While racing, suddenly my acceleration is reduced and takes an abnormal time to reach the point to change to the next gear.
Sometimes it's solved by lowering the gear, then acceleration goes normally, but now I just did a race and changing gears doesn't clear the problem anymore.

It's happening in every race with any car at any track.
At some point of the race, this issue appears.
And I have "Mechanical Failures" and "Vehicle Damage" both turned OFF.

So, I'm playing on a gamepad and it's throttles are working fine in other games.
Playing on Linux Mint, using Proton 9.0-4
This issue started just after v1.6.8.6 update.

 

Does anyone know how to disable track ir? everytime i go on track my Elgato web-cam says no signal. when i looked up the issue online i found that the Pcars series an AMS2 all have this issue.

 

This game has always had a major issue: it's almost impossible to switch back to the desktop and then return to the game. Nearly every time, the screen goes black, though the audio still works and the menus can be controlled… That’s how it is. Once you start playing this game, you won’t be able to return to the desktop and do anything else.

 

Are you running in fullscreen, borderless or windowed mode?

I've never had issues and am running it in borderless mode.

 

If on NVIDIA, update to the latest v591.59 drivers released yesterday as it might fix this issue, especially if you play on a monitor with VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) enabled.

 

Probably a config issue at your side, this haven't occured to me since day 0

 

I'm using full screen mode.

 

Is my AMD 7900 graphics card a compatibility issue?

full screen mode isn't very suitable when you want to alt tab a lot, try using borderless mode instead

 

For some reason, the game's frame rate has dropped to 30 in borderless window mode.

 

I had the same issue with a new AMD rx9070 this week, low framerates, lot of stuttering. I could not solve it. My solution was going back to nvidia. even my old 2080 super was smoother. good luck with this.

For me the same problem with supersampling not working

 

Supersampling in AMS2 doesn't work in VR, as your resolution is then configured in your VR runtime (SteamVR, OpenXR…)
