Sorry if I understood well . In your save if you turn the preset to GT3 ( I can’t recall if is a double option of GT3 or GT3 gen 2) and the hungaroring is on the remaining tracks?

sorry for the late response. Cloud Saving is enabled and was enabled all the time.

I remember, just after the update, that I got an ingame error message saying something like "access to memory not possible" when entering the main menu after starting the game. Unfortunately I can't tell you the exact error code since I didn't take a screenshot of it. I then verified the game files and the error message was fixed. Haven't gotten the error message since. Might have something to do with my initial issue, might not.

Sorry for not providing proper feedback with this issue, I hate myself for not getting a screenshot of the error, I know how important proper error codes are

Guys at Reiza, I hope I’m not bothering you with this, but I ran a test with RaceRoom on my PC and I have to say I didn’t experience any stuttering or FPS drops, so I’m ruling out my PC as the source of the problem. It seems to me that the problem with ATM2 lies in the Madness Engine. I ran a new race at Sebring—GT3 GEN2, 35 cars with AI, of course—and, for example, at the pit entrance turn, that tricky corner on that track, there’s a terrible drop in FPS; it goes from a steady 75 to 58–55, and you can really tell from the visuals. In other sections, it runs normally and smoothly; this simulator is acting strangely, and it seems to me that it got worse with the latest update. I want to make it clear that I don’t use mods or anything like that—just the DLCs I’ve happily purchased. ATM2 is my favorite simulator; I don’t want any other, but I don’t like playing like this. I hope and trust that you can do something about it, and, well, as a final note, I play on Linux. Thank you.

Well, let's start investigating why that might be happening. First, we need some information to be able to evaluate the situation:

- Which Linux distro are you using?

- What graphics card do you have, and which drivers are installed (for example, if it's an NVIDIA card, let's see if you're using the Nouveau drivers, the proprietary drivers, or the open-source nvidia-open drivers from NVIDIA; or if it's an AMD card)

- The version of your Linux kernel.

- On Steam, which version of Proton you’re using to run the game (if you have Protonup-qt installed, for example, so you can download the version you want and test it on your distro).

- It would also be helpful to know which desktop environment you’re using on your Linux distro; for example, I’m using KDE Plasma with Wayland.

For now, with this information, we can start figuring out what might be going on

 

The game dropped my steering wheel calibration and input... Simagic Alpha Ultimate base, GT NEO wheel, P200H pedals, DS8X shifter. Everything else seems to work...I had gas, was able to shift...Just no steering, and the game doesn't seem to recognize inputs... Verifed through Simagic app that all peripherals are connected and read. Performed all work arounds that I know of, but no luck.

 

well, tbh, they're super simple troubleshooting. Reset my base, unplugged power and feed cables, reset wheel....I've found in the past, that throwing the wheel left or right, the game will recognize the input. I tried that again, nothing. I will try deleting the file and starting fresh...But I have fireworks to launch, food to eat, and beer to drink. Cheers! Thank you guys for your hard work and keeping this game fresh. Just FYI, I would pay, individually, per car, & track to help fund the work you guys do...The work y'all do is absolutely worth paying for, to keep money flowing, and help with future projects. Check if the bundle is actually checkmarked in your steam setting and not the standalone parts of Racing USA

 

Hello guys. I have issue with custom grid setup.
Basically I wanted to make 3-4 class on the grid with custom Qty of each class.
Please refer to the screenshot with my settings.

Problem is in the end it all loads randomly, absolutely Not according to my custom grid setup

What am I doing wrong ?

Ps: is it possible to edit each car AI strength manually ? I heard smth about it

 

First guess would be that you have custom AI files for some of those classes but not all. Try again after deleting the custom AI or make sure all classes have enough custom AIs defined as many slots you want to use.

 

I'm having a slight issue with some cars steering hubs are blank with no logo?

 

Hello mate. Thank you for reply, it worked. The problem was custom Ai. Never used custom Ai files, but seems it was going with liveries I downloaded.
