I had steam check the files and I'm so confused because the steering hub texture cant be modified correct?

Lotus 98t also has this issue, and the other cars with hub logos.

since the last update I have the following issue.
After the 1.6.9.9 Update I saw the new cars like Lister Storm, Saleen, 55GT etc.
After 2 two days I only can see the 55GT in my list, no Lister Storm, no Saleen, no Maserati-Tropheo...
Attached you can see, the Lister Storm folder is there, but it's not in the list.
I deinstalled and installed the game last night, but nothing changed.
Is there a way, to install the update again?

Guys I'm having a problem with the McLaren MP4/12 that the car is bouncing like crazy and I can't guide.
Even when I put a race with another car the ia can't race too.
Is anyone else with the same problem?

I'm not at home now but I will check when I return.
I know that is the latest major version because I have the new Milano but I don't know about this specific patch.
I've seen the problem trying to replicate 1997 German grand prix in hockenheim classic.
In hockenheim I couldn't even leave the pitlane.
Today I tried in Interlagos and the same happened.
The only difference is that the car was stationary on the box but when I took the control the bouncing started.
I play in 1440p and I'm using a custom Ffb created by Danielkart on overtake.gg

Perhaps I'm reporting an issue that has already been mentioned: since the latest update, my SHH shifter no longer works properly. After just a couple of laps, it either stops working completely or only partially. When used in sequential mode, for example, it will only let me shift up to 3rd gear and no higher.

Even if I restart the game and rebind the controls, the issue always comes back in exactly the same way. No key conflicts detected.

If I use the shifter in sequential mode, once it stops working, the paddle shifters on my steering wheel (I'm using a Simagic GT Neo) also stop working correctly. The downshift paddle still works, but the upshift paddle becomes completely unresponsive.

Before posting, I tested the SHH shifter with other racing titles, and it works perfectly. I also had no issues at all before the latest July update.

No, I didn't calibrate the shifter again. I could try, thanks.

 

Speaking of binding, whenever I switch my steering wheel I have to redo all the bindings again even if I saved different presets. The game just doesn't recognize the saved mapping.

 

I have one of them too (early version) but not been in the Sim much since this update, been using paddle shifters anyway but will keep this in mind and report back if I notice anything strange.

 

I have one too, I’ve played around 1,5h since the update, and didn’t have issues until now. The only difference is I’m using h-pattern and not sequential shifter configuration, but I’ll keep an eye to see if I have any inconsistent behaviour.

 

I can confirm that the issue persists even after resetting and remapping the buttons.
In particular, sequential mode stops working after just a few minutes, which also affects the paddle controls. However, after reconfiguring them through Edit Assignments, the paddles start working correctly again.

 

With the latest update I am getting a lot of crashes to desktop. I have yet to be able to complete a long race.

Championship mode, FV10 G1 crashes in practice (first race). Full length. The session was rain affected. Custom AI and liveries.

Also a custom championship Bathurst P2/3/4 multiclass, custom AI. 3hr race x2 time, random weather 4 slots synced to race. Restarted the championship with Kansai, real weather 3hr, real time. Within a lap of rain happening, game crashes to desktop.

Validated game files, cleared cache, no change. Submitted bugslat. Just updated graphics driver and will try again...

i7 14700k 4070 super win 11 pro.

 

Thanks for the reply. Bathurst crashed again at 2:40 of 3hr race with updated graphic driver. No bugsplat option this time either.

No custom liveries for the P2/3/4 race. Don't think it's possible to run this race without the custom AI, as I've filtered out the Sigma cars from P2 class with custom grid/AI. All was working fine 3 months ago when I was last playing this particular championship (been working away from home) and nothing has been changed wth the files. Practice and quali worked just fine, the race has crashed 3 times now, all around 2hr 30min in.

Very frustrating and time consuming to troubleshoot this with the long races...

What do you mean by verify the cache?
