Quest 3 here and I would love if 120hz was useable but unfortunately on my 7800X3D & 4080S it is not practical as I do not like limiting the FOV or other ingame fx. I run at 72hz with SMAA Medium and both ingame SS added, also Nvidia Transparency 2 x SS and with those settings have a really good vr experience so far.

Interesting to see some of you using in game SS. I've always been told it's broken and does nothing. Since I use Virtual Desktop I don't have the need for it, so have never tested it to find out if that's true or not.

it is. After a lot of testing, the game no longer needs sharpening from the vr graphics file and msaa on medium instead of high is currently looking feasible. updates to my guide should be done by this week

On a different note, now that I have my settings dialed in: How do you move the HUD Elements around in VR? I can't move anything in the menu.
Also, is there a way to change the distance of the HUD from my face?

For move ir you have to change a config file:
AMS 2 HUD Position Mod (VR)

I would be interested in anyone nowing hot to move and enable or disable things. I'n not able to disable the Radar and the virtual mirror.

    Thanks in advance

    That's the neat part, you don't ;)

Just kidding, it is just a pain. The most straightforward is: turn down your VR resolution so much as you can. Then get into the game and configure your UHD. If you are lucky to have your monitor screen with similar resolution, you'll be able to reach every element without issues. Then get out the game and set your resolution back

There is now binds to move hud around. Those are shown in edit hud option. You can move them with numpad buttons and 0 toggles size adjustment iirc.

Any recommendations for lowering contrast or file tweaks for exposure? I have exposure compensation set to 2.00, which helps alleviate dark vehicle interiors, but still find interiors entirely too dark. In tightly enclosed cockpits it's pretty bad.

Working with a Vive Pro 2 presently.

I set up with my Q2 today (but at 72 Hz) according to your in-game settings and had 50%=60% headroom with full grid (44 cars I think) at Watkins Glen. I am going to try 90Hz tonight after work. This was in the daytime. I'll try with other weather settings.

    Thanks for your suggestions.

Thanks! Never disabled this. Do It now and shadows are much better, without less contrast. Night racing is better too.

Even in Quest 2 "total black bright".

I have. Does not impact interior brightness on my end in a substantial way. Wondering where I can find the entry for "exposure compensation" in a config file to see if it can be manually set higher than the 2.0 in the menu. Can't seem to track it down in either openvr xml/ini file.

Got vr looking good again finally.

I get now what I can only describe as audio freezes…..I listen through my oculus 3 headset but every now and again the audio just drops out momentarily. Anybody else get this and Is there a cure for it?

    thanks
