VR Hud: anyone able to edit Hud items? Seems like everything is locked in VR. Even if I make changes to the Hud in Monitor mode (Works) but, VR Hud is still stuck.

Reset of user profile may be needed but, it'd be good to have some confirmation that it works.

 

No issue here with adjusting VR HUD. Can be a struggle to find the grab handle, but once you locate it, it moves freely, including the Message items.

I have just run an hour on my PSVR2 and its been great VR play, as it used to be.

there is something wrong wit hthe Meta app as I ca see it flickering on my desktop. I upgrade from W10 to W11 recently, maybe something is going on here.

It doesn't matter though, the picture quality on the PSVR2 is miles better than the Q2.

I think the problem with performance is that AMS2 tempts us to use settings that are too high. It looks so outrageously good that you always want more. At the same time, the difference between low and high is not that big. If you restrain yourself a bit, it still runs great.

 

Use a controller, With the xbox controller works perfectly

 

Hello guys, I have a question about the camera. I have made sure that the camera remains in a fixed position, which is fine. But when I enter a banked curve, Daytona for example, the car turns but the camera doesn't and I'm driving diagonally. Any way to correct this?

Set Legacy to No in Camera/Movement settings.

 

hmm maybe stutters are fixed? , i had severe stuttering yesterday even putting bitrate down too 500 shadows low, reflections low , mma medium frametime was at 5,2 ms and cpu at 6,3 at 72 hz with a big field
So this morning my headset updated and its smooth with bitrate at 750 , but i hope it lasts lol [quest 3]

 

same experience here.I thought in the end it was Meta app or NVIDIA drivers as I was having massive stutters on my Q2 but then today it vanished.so weird.....the joy of VR gaming

 

yep just did 2 multi player racers with about 30 players i just got 1 little stutter ,i said go away and it did

 

After two NVIDIA drivers updates, I can only go to 300 bitrate (looks crap) or go direct to 750-960 (looks great). After some testings, keep 800, because looks almost the same of 960.

Hope NVIDIA and META don't mess this. But it's near impossible. Today, it's running flawless:

 

I have Quest 3 and am trying to set VRSuperSampling. Both the in-game and the file didn't work for me. It was 1.3 but after I wanted to change it, I could not make it more than 1.0 anymore. Is it a bug or is it just me?

EDIT: If I save it twice in-game, it works.

 

me too buggy interface like the tc and abs bug works when it wants too

 

There is a workaround for that bug. Press J and K to enable TC and ABS. Then you can change both.

I fixed the problem

I bought a pico neo3 link and psvr2

both run smoothly and oh boy the DP connection is a bless in terms of picture quality

Even when I could push super sampling and 960 nitrate it was nowhere near


The only time I use my Q2 is for when I play wireless standing games and move to jump into Simracing sitting straight after that

but I can tell you it’s rare now

 

Pico have a way to set custom FOV? I'll love a headset with DP connection and that I can limit the horizontal FOV rendering.

 

Thank you for the advice ! I forgot to update my headset for a long time and my last version was 65, and now when i checked it was saying update 72 . Did the update and tried AMS2 at Sebring again, and while there are still framedrops at a select few places i would swear it is nowhere near as sever as before ! I am most certain it is not just a placebo effect because before this update the overall framerate since 1.6 was absolutely horrible.

Now in the same section it felt like i only ever lost a few frames at most ! I still hope that Reiza will have a look at Sebring and figure out what is causing those framerate drops.

 

There is a feature on SteamVR called "Fov scale" per app and an additional " letterboxed " setting. In theory, it should do the same as what the fov multiplier does but only the vertical multiplier. I tried to make it work with Pimax Crystal Light but it didn't even though I saw the vertical resolution was reduced in the SteamVR ui. Support says it's related to PCL firmware and is working on a fix.

@Nolive721 is it possible for you to test this setting if it works for you?
