I don't know if it's just a placebo, but I feel like I get better frame times with VR and fewer occasional frame drops after the update. I checked Quest 3 performance overlay and even thou the headroom goes down to a couple of percent, it really holds the framerate well and doesn't drop frames.

It's not placebo, it's probably because of "Implemented level-of-detail crossfades in the renderer for foliage and grass shaders". I also noticed the difference in VR performance.

Hi there, after the last patch I've suddenly lost a lot of fps on VR.

I have a 4090 and HP Reverb G2, always around 90fps with ultra settings before the patch, obviously using open composite (and obviously many less fps at night and night+rain).

Since yesterday, no matter what I do or messing around with options (scaling resolution, lowering details, etc) it seems I can't get more than 50-60 fps both day (i.e. hi tech f1 at Interlagos) or night (i.e. gt3 at nurburgring).

It goes up to 65 or 70 fps when Im not surranded by other cars, but I can cleary see and feel the lack of smoothness. It's quite quite annoying as I have no idea what to do...any help??

    Thank you in advance.
