Have any of you who were previously on ethernet cable plus wifi tried this yet?

 

Yep I've been on the ethernet version of VD until this update. Replaced it with my old USB Link cable for my Quest 3. It's flawless. Works exactly like old style link should but through VD. So much more convienient

 

It’s a mixed bag. If you have the right motherboard and cable, you get good results. Discord is full of people who both praise and curse it. In general, Intel chipsets reportedly cause issues, and charging the headset via the USB port is also more difficult. Since there are hardly any advantages (1ms less latency with direct USB), I’m sticking with the Ethernet solution.
