VR Gameplay

Nicely done. I'm guessing all that scraping noise in Classic is the car hitting the deck under aero load? Those sounds need balancing. I found the same with the puddle noises when it's wet. The sound is very loud compared to the engine and everything else.

(By the way, you need to activate Windows!)

 

I know, I know! I'll get round to it. I didn't realise getting a new gaming motherboard completely wipes your Windows license. I've tried recovering it and it just fails and says its unable to complete.

Also, your bang on - I was literally about to ask over at the audio forums how the heck I get rid of that AWFUL sound. It's so overpowering. There must be a text file or something to be able to isolate and edit. I don't want it entirely gone but I would like it significantly muted!

I had the same problem when I upgraded. My Win 10 license was from a free upgrade from Win 7 and didn't have the old code. I think it doesn't work in some cases anyway after changing hardware. Instead of buying a full copy I got a license from here:

It's grey market but entirely legal.

Im and IT technician, not many people know this but you can activate windows 10 with windows 7 and windows 8 licence key Legit . Because of the free upgrade they gave this option still works. Your welcome

aks a friend, look under their laptop for window 7 key. it will activate if it was not activated prior two months before and yes one licence per machine but hey it works.

 

Those kind of keys are usually OEM keys and tied to particular hardware so don't work. I went through all the options believe me, you're not the only one in IT

So I've got the old serial number on the old computer case, that'll work then? I'm fairly certain I tried that before and it thought about it, then thought about it some more, then froze and told me it failed. I'll try again.

 

Yea i do it all the time, have a clients old laptop with windows 7 and then put it into windows 10 and viola.

I love the FV12's... Did notice the tire size on the sidewall is all wrong, though, LOL. 225/50/16.. Would have never noticed if it wasnt for VR. I leaned over and looked at it. Gods they sound good though...

Look over at the tire in game. You'll see the tire size on the sidewall.

 

you should report it as bug. Some graphic artist maybe attached the wrong asset.
