I've run into a few problems recently, and I’d appreciate any help: 1 - The game's VSync isn't working, even when enabled; I used to be comfortable locking the frame rate to match my monitor's refresh rate, but it has stopped working. 2 - The seat position reset isn't working fully—specifically, it doesn't reset the seat up and down (which requires the Ctrl+K / Numpad 5 shortcut); furthermore, the reset/setting is lost after exiting and re-entering the game. 3 - I generally use an FOV of 70, but in FEdge (V12), it looks very different from what I'm used to—it looks like 50 (perhaps because I'm using custom skins?). I’ve already deleted the game folder in "Documents" and verified the game files, but the issues persist. I'm on the updated version (1699), as I hadn't played for a while.
Hello there, To answer your questions: I’ve no idea why it stopped working for you; it could be that you’ve set your graphics driver to ignore or override the in-game vsync. This is not how the official seat position is meant to be used. It’s actually some sort of developer tool from pCars. If you want your seat position to save, please bind your buttons for the seat in the controller menu. It could be that the default seat of this car is too zoomed in, thus it feels like you’re driving with a FOV of 50. Hope this helps you find some answers. Marius
Hi. 1 - No graphics driver changes; I simply reinstalled the game after a few months. It works sometimes but not others, so I decided to lock the FPS via the GPU software. 2 - Correct; I have hotkeys for this, but when changing the seat position (up/down), the reset key doesn't work—not even via the cockpit adjustment menu. It only works if I change the position using the menu itself rather than the hotkeys. The Ctrl+K combination was just a workaround. 3 - I spent many hours with V12 (FEdge), and the FOV seems quite different in this version. In the image below, you can see the background view (at 70); can anyone confirm if this is how it's supposed to look now? Thanks.
