oh my god!! your statement change everything!!! this means that 2 months= 8/9 weeks...wow!! such a genius!! jokes aside, when normal people talk about weeks, they're refering less than four weeks...more weeks than that, we talk about month/s.
hmm late 2024 would be nice as I generally take a week off of work over the holiday and I have no family functions to go to.. however, MSFS 2024 is dropping late November.. so that may keep me busy .. I have been happy with everything Reiza has delivered. The ONLY reason I'm not playing it now is because I decided to clean my computer and just get a fresh copy of 1.6 when it comes out. This delay has given me time to try out other games.
If it only takes a few days, that's O.K.. The problem is the last big update took to long, and we where left in the dark. I think the customers deserve to be updated, that's just good customer service. Lets hope for the best. I think they are trying better this time. It's a learning curve.
For feedback which I hope is taken into consideration: Ideally, I'd rather have consistent blog updates, say, every two or three months. Even if it's just a small one saying, "Hey we can't say much, but here's what we have in the works and what we can say." Just, some sort of consistency and honest communication, and if a time frame is mentioned, maybe something more broad. As an example, I thought the "...in parts over the course of the next few days..." meant that there would be one or two more parts of the blog update that week. Not intentionally trying to be pedantic, but one week does not feel like a few days, so the wording instead could've been "...in parts over the course of the next couple weeks..." if that makes sense. Hopefully this helps! Seems like the common topic might have been around communication issues in some way. Maybe even release a survey to gather more feedback on what could be done better!
A little feed back would calm the chatter, it's not just a game, but a passion for the sport , which is why we are here. I think this update will be quicker.
I do feel for the devs on this one, when they first announced 1.6 they had their time to release, then you get a issue, fix that then another issue comes up after that fix and it just goes on like that, I'm pretty sure they want to release it so they can relax a little as the time pressure must be stressing them out massively, and to think this is for free, codemasters would of just called this ams3 and charged 40 quid for a new game,
