Why new ligier cars are not on different cars?

C'mon Reiza, please take note and implement this change. This content presents two great car models but is pretty pointless in current the format!

 

Came here looking for a solution for this and found this thread. Yes we need the two cars to be in their own classes, as they are in real life. Got to see them running at Silverstone this year and my wife loved watching them more than any of the other races.

 

Another vote to separate both cars.

 

True, even after several updates since release it's still not fixed.
To me it's not an only an issue to bring a racing series consisting on two separate car classes with separate scoring.
Questionable here was it just missed or was it overlooked and most important: is it that complicated to correct?

 

Another vote from me also to have them as two separate classes.

 

I started a race today with Ligier JS2 R and thought I set up a multiclass race by mistake at the beginning. Then noticed it's because of how the AMS2 class is shaped. Another vote for spliting class into two.

 

It is not complicated, but the number of different ranking lists steam enables for each product is limited so they have taken this design decision for now. Some kind of bigger restructure is planned to fix this iirc.

 

Watching live race and think to myself, why this series never get popularity in AMS2 as it deserves.

Ligier European Series - a 100% Ligier JS P4 and Ligier JS2 R series

Cars are still not separated, so slower class competes faster points wise, right?

The champion(s) of the Ligier JS P4 sport-prototype category will receive €150,000 to be used exclusively the following season to enter the Michelin Le Mans Cup at the controls of a Ligier JS P325 with a team selected by Ligier Automotive.

Ligier JS2 R Champion(s)
The champion(s) will receive €100,000 to compete exclusively in the Ligier European Series in the following season in a Ligier JS P4 with a team selected by the constructor

 

The answer is simple: it's no GT3 car. The majority of simracers only uses GT3 cars unfortunately.

 

Because it is not as easy to drive as a GT3 / GT4 at Monza.
