But i tried also 85% and 99%, accordingly with the decreasing of the gain and effects in AMS2 panel.

Strange, you could try using this file, I think I only tweaked a few things in it regarding the suspension. Anyway the road feel differs quite a bit from car to car, to some extent that in some cars the road textures are barely there.

We probably shouldn’t get carried away trying to convert.
Some just like thing different and a little rough.

the more pressing issue is the way it’s reacting to the monza banking.

I might still post V3 beta sometime in next day or so, just to give a sense of where it was headed, but unfortunately it only works on 4.6 , so don’t really want to put something out there that potentially can do harm to your wrist or wheel.

Indeed I tried the F Classic for the specific purpose to test the settings on a "hard car"
Thanks, I'll try it next weekend. :(

Is there any way to get the default settings as a custom to tweak?

    Tried! :)
But no. The feeling is the same.
Now I try the High End one.

    EDIT: nope, neither High End.

Delete ffb_custom_setting.txt in Documents/Automobilista 2, restart the game and the original should be restored.

Do you have the latest firmware installed?

You can open the custom ffb file and tweak this values :
    # Road features settings
    #

    (texture_scale 0.6)
    (micro_bumps_scale 0.2)
    (kerbs_surface_scale 2.7)3.4
(kerb_bump_scale 2.7) #How big the tall curb bumps are.
(large_track_bump_scale 0.05) #how much bumps on the track are felt.
(large_offroad_bump_scale 0.05) #how much bumps off the track are felt.

I just installed the "Silver Raw - muscleFuktor - Momentum Rack 6.2 - Karsten with Shadak & Panos - High end file" , and even though the ffb seems to be great, it doesnt have any strenght to it...
Ive cranked the gain up to 100 and in to 150 in the set up menu and it still feels really weak.

It doesnt seem to change in strength either when I change the gain values.
Is there something I could be doing wrong?

You know that in game damper slider acts as ‘power steering’? Higher values will reduce peak cornering force. I use ~40.

I was running it at 60-40-50-50 as per your instructions in the recommended settings file.
Just tried changing the slider from 0-100 and nothing changed in the strenght of the ffb. Even playing with the Gain slider doesnt do anything oddly enough...

Im on a CSL Elite if that matters at all btw.

    Hmm somethings wrong I think.

Maybe try renaming your documents/automobilista 2 file. The game will then create a new one when you next launch it. You can then copy over files from the old folder (custom ffb / gtx configuration etc)

in terms of the caster issues.
a very quick test of some smoothing added does seem to help with the jolt . but at what trade off of feel i haven’t had time to test yet as off to work.

Need some help getting my TX wheel dialed in. I've been throwing so many FFB files and slider adjustments at it I am now lost. I've been sticking with the T300 tune by Kuku and trying to work with that as some of the ones for DD wheels are little harsh. I feel I am really missing details under braking and corning and not sure what to adjust at this point. I can't feel what the rear of the car is doing at all until it's already around. I've tried raising LFB to bring center detail up but my fear is this is muting details and giving me that really flat dull feeling mid corner (that floaty feeling). There is also a "looseness" in the wheel before turn in. It's as if there is a delay between weight transfer and that increased tire load reaching the wheel.

I started with the settings Kuku mentions in the V2.1 file and worked from there with little success.

All of my testing is in the Porsche GT3R as that is my go to car. I'm also on a low end spec PC that just meets the Min Requirements or just barely exceeds it. But it's not like my CPU is 100% utilized either.

AMS2 is not so much CPU reliant as it is GPU. You can get away with a lower end CPU, but to get the best out of AMS2 you need a pretty decent GPU.
