    Yeah I know 3 is supposed to be neutral but it feels more accelerated and off just feels neutral. I've tried this in all sims as Fanatec recommended is always 3 and all sims feel better off for me.
    Yes, I'm using the Fanatec Porsche 320 Suede rim on the Universal Hub with all button pods and Fanatec magnetic paddles, so around 2kgs.

    Yeah, it's not about the weight but more about the lever of the 320mm...
    The V12 could live with a slight bit more steering force definetly IMO, but it's not totally off the map and also seems a lot lighter with a 300mm rim here already, when comparing to a formula rim with 280mm.

    I think after removing all FX I feel the issue I'm feeling is the way the pendulum (rear end) comes through the wheel, really rotates the wheel back creating the feeling of a loose wheel.

    Yes but to be honest GT3s don't do standing starts anyway and if they did any standing start probably their clutch and gearbox would end up being damaged to destruction anyway. Not sure what could be a proper modeling for that...

    The problem is of technical nature and the lack of simulation of it. as far as i Know, and as far as simulated in ACC, you can't get over 4500 RPM with clutch disengaged. This is also my daily experience with my current own car: clutch pressed means a RPM limiter engages at 4200 rpm (maximum Torque point).
    on some older cars I had indeed twice a clutch damage (broken pressure plates) due to "burnout starts"

    I think this is correct (and applies to my road car, too). @CrimsonEminence can add "neutral rev limiter for cars equipped with one" to the list of requested updates :)

    Don't want to be the party pooper, i also see high appeal in such (especially) immersion benefiting features. I will forward that one, but i'm not in the position to give any promises.

    All the clutch related features are basically still fresh and still in the process of getting the baseline right and useful as a foundation.

    To get more into the finer points with anything needs more time of course.

    Thanks! If it exists already as an option in the code, it will be quick and easy. If it has to be manually added/coded, I won't hold my breath, but will remain hopeful for the long term ;)

    The RPM limit at 4500 is imposed to prevent the mechanical limits of the clutch disc from being broken once the clutch grips the drive wheels for some especially more sensitive car types. The limiter must certainly be put on the GT3s when in neutral, but on older cars it is an H gearbox the synchronizers not only would not be able to engage the first gear with the limiter engine, but would immediately burn the clutch disc once engaged.

    I guess the over issue is that rolling starts need to be made more reliable in a mp setting, such that GT3 at Monza/Spa races (which is 99% of the sim racing MP experience) don’t need to start with standing starts.

    The other fix i desire is that pit speed limits be determined by the track, not the car/class. It doesn't make sense that the classic mini can legally drive through the monaco pits at 100kmh, whilst GT3 etc must stick to 60kmh

    Not sure where you are taking this but I have had a number of older cars from the 70s and even more recently a 2006 C6 Z06 and there is no limits or issues to engaging 1st gear at any rpm with clutch depressed.
    The limit to certain rpm (where it exists) comes from electronics and I am not sure in street cars that has anything to do with clutch integrity, most likely it's emission related.
    In racing it is instead both for clutch integrity and standing start efficiency: drivers can lean against the limiter places at the best torque point getting a better start with less clutch stress.

    Since the primary shaft is disengaged from the flywheel, fully Agreed.
    + If such a limiter exist in real Gt3 etc cars, then some concrete evidence of it would be welcome before any limits applied in sim.
    If ACC is correct in its 4,500 rpm limits relative to real race cars then fine. evidence should be easy to find.
    Early days in clutch damage ams2 as Crimson has stated so some headroom to play with if scale is off. + Racecars real life dont have weak clutches fitted generally.

    In modern road cars, even fully manual ones, this is part of the "launch control" or hill hold or simply start up help programm, often coupled with the brakes to hold brake pressure. I figured out it works very well as a perfect launch control at traffic lights too.
