Troubleshooting - Automobilista 2

Not sure if it's a better fit for this thread or the bug report one, but as of one of the recent updates (I wanna say May), the game keeps changing the registry entry of the G29 and switching the Gas / Clutch pedals in the process. Looking it up it in this thread it seems like it was an issue back at launch, and presumably it got fixed at some point since when I picked it up last year this didn't happen, but it's most definitely happening now for me at least. It's not a huge issue now that I know what's happening and what to change to fix it but it sure drove me crazy trying to troubleshoot it!

 

What ports do I need to open in my router? Because Upnp does not show anything.

 

For the game itself you dont need to open anything.

Only for the dedicated server you need to open the ports that are in the server.cfg file

not sure where to post this. I started another link before this but no response. I’m having issues with AMS2 beta and VR but can’t find direct support for the beta sim. I see there is an link on the top right but you need some different sort of E-mail account. I don’t want another account if I don’t need one.

just looking for some pointers as to where to post issues and try to get some help.

i've just bought a RTX 3090ti (formerly 1080ti with i7 8700k) and i have now micro-lag, principally when the car turns...i'm struggling so much to set it up....Thanks in advance for your settings advices !

 

You will need to post the rest of your pc spec’s.The 3090ti is a beast but unless you have the Equipment & ram to unleash it you could be bottlenecked

I noticed something .If I set refresh rate to higher than 240Hz (300Hz ,360Hz) game resets performance settings after restart.

 

Hey guys, I run a super ultrawide monitor and a HP Reverb G2 VR headset. For a while now I've not managed to get the game to load. I get the Reiza logo to come up, then the red shading behind the logo appears, and the game crashes. I don't get any further than that. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing. I've installed the latest Nvidia drivers ( I have a 3080) and still no luck. I have an I9 9900k chip and 32gb ram. Does anyone have any ideas?

Please help, I cannot install/configure my H-Shifter. I use a Logitech G29 with H-Shifter.
First time I tried it works somehow, but since then, I cannot configure it, it does not work.
I tried everything, reconfigure everything, etc. but still.

I have recently bought the game on Steam store and I am getting crashes to desktop at random times during any race, or test session and it generates a BugSplat report each time. It does not crash on any menus or when loading.
My Spec is Dell G5 laptop
16Gb RAM
CPU AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics 2.90 GHz
GPU AMD Radeon RX 5600M
Windows 10 Version 22H2
Logitech G29 Wheel and pedals
Please help as I cannot play the game for more than a few minutes without a crash to desktop every time.

Only the player is ice scating, AI does not have a problem. Known issue since day one.

Yes i do,

I play with triple screen and use a capture card to my second pc for streaming. The capture card is seen as a 4th monitor by AMS2 and therefore my triple screen support is turned off by the game. I am not using Nvidia Surround, its buggy and costs me FPS.

Is there a fix so i can use triple screen again?

 

not at this time i have same configuration than y i tried a other card just for 4th screen and said if is good!!

 

Hi everyone, any idea on the attached bugsplat report? I need serious help, I've reinstalled win 11, reinstalled everything, no overclocking for the cpu and gpu but mothing the game keeps on crashing on menu pause, alt tab, and race start. Note the game used to run fine and that's why I've reinstalled everything but no luck.
