I think I read in one of @Danielkart post, that you set in game around that 60 mark, and change base settings to suit the feeling of weight you like. Is that correct @Danielkart ?

Yes, Michael, that’s it. If you reduce the gain in the game that low (16-18) almost all FFB will disappear.

I just did a little experiment. First I set AMS2 at 62 Gain and in SimPro Manager I ended up at around 45 to get the weight I like. Then I tried the opposite. SimPro at 90 and AMS2 at 25. I was so surprised how much livelier the wheel felt and how much more of the track details I could feel when I did the opposite to what it says in your file. Much more when SimPro was on 90 and AMS2 on 25. Very strange. I will try it like this for awhile. Thanks for the file.

Many roads lead to Rome ;) As I said recently there are thousands of opinions and personal preferences. Everyone should go their own way
There are also different filter settings for each base and can completely change the result. My premise is to use as few of them as possible. Other users want exactly the opposite and feel good about it. That's why it's important to follow your own feelings and your personal sweet spot

I have no filters on, the same as you. Much better as far as I am concerned too.

Always appreciated! Tried this one and it's my favorite from you to date. Going to be hard to choose between this one and kuku's revival for the mainstay. I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to tweaking the FFB files myself. If I thought the centering/damping force was a little weak, is there any variable you would recommend messing with in the file? Steering just feels a little "loose" for my tastes in the initial 25'ish degrees of rotation. Also curious if there's a variable that would effect the resistance getting close to the steering/soft lock. Always feels a little too hard to get from ~150 degrees to 180 degrees. Appreciate any insight you're willing to break off for me!

Increase the damping and friction on the base according to your personal taste ;)

Figured that might be the recommended approach. Helps some, hurts in other ways. Life remains a game of compromises yet again despite my attempts to have my cake and eat it too. Thanks again for the always great profiles and Happy New Year!!!

Can anyone with a VRS Direct Force Pro base redirect me to an FFB file tailored for that wheel base?

Any of the DD-focused profiles will work great. It's more a matter of personal taste than base-specific tailoring. If you want a couple recommendations, look a few posts above at DK's personal v600 file. He uses a SC2 pro which has the same torque rating as your base, for what that's worth. Kuku's rfuktor revival is also topping my list along with DK's. Alegunner's various profiles have seen rotation on my end as well. Hard to land on one because of differences between the cars in-game and the amount of adjustments that can be made in the settings.

Trying it but with FX at 20s suggested in the file I have a lot of vibrations, both driving and with car stopped. Lowered to 12 is better

Daniel, for some reason while using your customs I do not have that result. I feel more than enough ffb and effects with base on 70-100 gain and in game at 16-20 on my SC2P. Currently using V300.

    Hey!
It's completely okay if you get better results with it. You also have other settings in the TD as I saw. People have very different feelings, what is bad for one is the best for another. All are recommendations and do not have to match your preferences. Test your bases and in-game settings for your personal sweetspoot ;)

It's difficult to say because I don't know your preferences and personal feelings. But just try the most recent files because they are the most current. That would be V400 or V500
