As dean said, I would also advise against it. It's okay when stationary and it can increase your immersion without disturbing other FFB. I'm also in favor of feeling the wheel as much as possible because it's the most important connection to feel FFB followed by the pedals. But it has limits and sometimes it's better to take something away (even in a custom file) so as not to overlay it or because there is better hardware to simulate it. There is now great hardware to increase immersion and deceive your senses. But here too, sometimes “less is more” is better from my own experience.

Just tried the Moza ffb3.0 beta firmware update on the R12, lots of improvements including natural inertia optimisation that I set at 250 and it's eliminated all oscillations.
Feels awesome using V5000 with a few tweaks.
Should be on main release soon.

Hey buddy! Yes, I know about the FFB update from Moza. I also complained about Moza's lack of inertia when using wheels from other manufacturers. They weren't interested at the time but it seems that there were more complaints and it's nice that they're correcting it now.
I can also recommend my next file to you, it will be incredibly immersive and things will be felt that were not felt before. I'm just waiting for the definitive update 1.6 from Reiza:)

For this reason, I have given the recommended settings for Moza bases on the V5000 as described below for the following values:

Maximum Wheel Speed: 180%-200% (For small, light wheels set the value to 100-120%)
This value does almost the same as increasing the inertia. When reduced, damping occurs. But unfortunately this also reduces the rotation speed and thus the liveliness of the wheel.

Natural Inertia: 100% (This setting can only be changed at Moza Wheels)
Unfortunately, the inertia was only possible with Moza's own wheels until now.I never understood why Moza did this. But with the update it should finally be fixed.

I have a moza r12 base and I am also using new beta drivers. I use danielkart's pit house settings setup. I have lowered the maximum speed to 100%. . I have increased the inertia to 250-300. I have put 20% friction. I have returned to the default settings in the game. I'm using Porsche cup which is a mod that I didn't like before and with these changes it feels very good. A big change with the new drivers

In the v5000 I've reduced centering to 30, and increased scrub a bit. Feels really nice.

I would like to test your changes. Could you specify which exact lines you are referring to?

Hi, just scroll down the file to centering, reduce it to 30, scrub scale to around 3.0.

    What's new:
    • Introduced dynamic adhesion gamma
    • Adjusted front scrub effect
    • Minor adjustment in bumps amplitude
    Still to improve/implement:
    • (no roadmap)

    Hello Joaquim,

love your ffb, so far i think it's the best i've tested.
i have a question, what settings do you reccomend in game and in the fantec profile ? (CSL DD 8nm)

sorry if you already replied to this question but i cannot find information around the forum unfortunately.

    thanks

    Great, enjoy!

"In game" settings are the ones in the file and the FullFFB page, but try to rise de "0" sliders and change the "effects" slider as well. The gain slider can but should not be necessary to change. No harm if you change it. I do recommend to change gain with the "per vehicle" setting, which represents a different approach and also has the advantage to be set while driving.

As for the wheelbase, I cannot advise, no real life experience.
But, first, try the settings that don't change anything (neutral, don't change the FFB signal).

you are right i should have read the txt file... ok so i'll try 65-00-20-00 too and on the wheel side i'll try fanatecs recommended settings for csl dd. one doubt, i see you use linear instead of peak as force feedback scale ,is that correct ?

Moza software/firmware doesn't have that concept. I don't know what it does on Fanatec wheelbases. Sorry :(.

What is gamma in relation to forces and what does it do? o_O

"Gamma" changes the rate a curve goes from point A to point B.
Since our senses are not linear in nature, applying a gamma to a signal (let it be light, sound or forces) makes it appears more smooth, more linear to us. Changes it's caractheristics and our perception.

Yes, I have just tuned and tested my "V6000 extreme" with the Thrustmaster T300. Make sure you use 100% gain ( at the base) otherwise you will waste a lot of Nm and therefore a lot of feedback. There will also be new bases that I will include in the file. So-called hybrid bases (a combination of belt drive and gear drive) that would be Thrustmaster T150 (2Nm) Thrustmaster T128 (2.5Nm) and Thrustmaster T248 (3.5Nm). "LFB" will no longer be necessary in the next file, not even for very weak bases, it will already be integrated in the file. Now I'm waiting for the update 1.6 to tune it to that:)

@Joaquim Pereira Is there a way to soften some of the road noise? I've tried several entries but can't seem to find it, not sure if it's the road texture, suspension or just the physics.
