Thanks @Marius H my vote would go to towing at well. IMHO, there's just no good way to reset on track without it being disruptive to people that are actively racing on track and thus creating chaos.

While we are at it, could you guys also look into griding options on a multiplayer server?
During a MP multiclass race, the default option is the faster class car gets gridded between the slower class cars if it gets a slower quali time than some of the slower class cars.
Would you guys please consider implementing the "Same Class" gridding MP option in multiclass races? Where cars in the same classes are gridded together, with a few empty spaces between the different classes. Regardless of if a faster class's car gets a quali time that is slower than a slower class car's quali time, it is grouped in the grid together with it's own class?

Thanks for taking the time to read. Cheers.

@DaWorstPlaya You’re welcome! ‘Gridding’ would indeed be a cool feature. I’ve been thinking about it myself. If you post your suggestion at The Feature Request Thread..., I’m sure my colleagues will see it, and it’s the right place for such feature requests.

GT4 cars use the same gear ratios as the original road car...by series definition. Yes, some are not great for race tracks. GT3 does not require this, so they have proper race car ratios.

Cool thanks, I think I knew that from the past but had forgotten. In that case then the AI AMs need a little tweak as they don't have the same bog down on the straights as I do, but that's not a big issue. Drove the Audi last night which of course has 7 gears to play with!

Short update: Seems like my gpu driver went wild and ruined my ams2 framerate. A clean driver reinstall helped getting my fps back

I would love the option to disable it completely as a host. Great!

Short question: if the new LOD feature is on how much impact will / should it have on fps / performance, should it be better or poorer or hardly noticeable, depending on PC-system?

Well, you will likely see a tinywiny performance hit as when as it's currently bottlenecking your cpu a bit. My colleagues are looking into eliminating that bottleneck. I suspect the better your cpu is, the less performance impact you will see.

It will reduce performance slightly. I can measure a small drop in FPS on my system when I use it.

What does it do exactly ? Performance is pretty much identical on my i7 14700K/RTX4070. I may be blind, but I can't see much difference aswell. Is it supposed to look better when it's on ?

Automatic changing level of detail reduces graphics processing requirements as objects far away dont need to be so detailed. However, automatic LODing strains your CPU a bit. If your CPU is weak, then this can cause performance problems overall.

In other words. Usually the graphics card is the bottle neck in you computer, but sometimes your cpu can be as well.
