Just had a blast with the new Opala, AI behaved very well and is certainly getting there with time.
Not really a complain but the car is easy to drive, what I wasn't expecting at all. It's very controllable and responsive. Never drove it in AMS 1 (no VR) so have no base to compare.
Also thanks for the brake wear improvements, it's much better now with current Stock Car.

Using the custom force feedback type and adjusting the ffb custom file, I can see some scrub value set to 0.
Is that bc the FX scrub effect is added "outside" of the calculations done through the ffb file?

    From Beta Forum,posted by Renato!
"We don´t feel it´s necessary so it´s off by default; an option to adjust it will eventually be added to the FFB UI but in the meantime those who are really missing it can enable it by editing their custom_ffb.txt in Mydocs/Automobilista 2 folder."

    ffb custom settings.txt

    Hope that helps...:)

Mmmm thanks ok, but not sure I understand (read : I don't understand). I guess that's the 1.0 we need to change. My T500RS have around 8% deadzone, which mean all forces below don't make their way to the wheel (tested with wheelcheck.exe). Not sure which value I need to set here to remove those 8%... 8.0? or ?

For me this is definitively needed. All the sims I drove where I was able to remove this "deadzone" have FFB improved.

@Dady Cairo thanks but still not sure how to use it.

@YoLolo69 Same here. My G27 has 17.5% ffb deadzone and I tried both 17.5 and 0.17 but I don't feel a difference. Even tried set it to 50 and 0.5 to make sure it works but still no go.

I'm so new to Reiza, so please forgive me for not knowing. Is the update automated when I use steam?

Have you set the ffb to custom instead of new or old?

Sorry! I copied the old file..
You must delete the old "ffb_custom_settings.txt" file first!
Start the game,go to Force Fed Back, then on CUSTOM.
It is in line 3,haven't tested it with my TS-PC,can't say if it is worth....
Restart the game and the right file is there wich looks like that:

Great! I'll test that tomorrow (wife sleep same room)! FFB is already really great, today I run 80/30/50 (with TM at 60, 100, 100, 0, 0, set by game). It's IMHO nearly perfect :) Will see if removing this deadzone will improve it more o_O

I would suggest: In TM Control Panel - all on Standard,no changes in Damper and spring.
I use this in all my Sims for years.Let the game control the wheel.
    Good night and good luck.;)

When are you going to address the problem of all slides under power, regardless of how severe, being saveable?

There is something seriously wrong with the behavior of the physics when a car is at or near the point of losing it under power. Many cars will get sideways way too easily, but it's still controllable 100% of the time.

I know you have the talent to fix it. :)

I just had a blast racing with the Opala Stock Cars 1986 at Interlagos Historic. They so fun to drive.
The same liveries I used watch on TV when I was a kid. Awesome!!
Thank you, guys! You made my day!

Guys after spending couple hours in the sim, I have to say that it feels amazing. I don't know what you made to FFB, but to me now it is great. I've been doing some time trials in the Stock V8 at Interlagos and seriously, such a demanding car, I haven't felt it like that before. It remains me so much to the behaviour in AMS 1. Apart from that I've done some laps at Adelaide as well with the Super V8... And again the FFB feels super, but I still feel there is something missing in the tyres. The car allows you to push it really hard and it behaves really good, but it is driftable quite easily taking in count how rigid this type of cars are. I don't know how to give a better explanation on how I feel it. Trying to sum up I feel it lacks the esence that you feel in the same car in AMS 1, while it is still a very demanding car.

Apart from that I want to thank you to all the Reiza team because I barely see companies that are able to do what you do. I think that with a bit more time AMS 2 will be a reference to take in count.
