Since 0.9.6 I can't feel tyre scrub and locking anymore in G27, was perfect before, now even with 100 in FX option almost nothing, I tried to delete the documents files and a complete reinstall. If anybody knows how to increse this with custom ffb and help me I appreciate, everything else in ffb is great btw.

Hello, can anyone tell why there are still placeholders for the 3D driver in v 1.0?
There is supposed to be no placeholder after early access, right? Usually I race in virtual reality and in some cars, that terribly placed driver model ruins the immersion.

I think the AI is a bit inconsistent. Yesterday I tried to race with the F-Ultimate at Spielberg, to celebrate F1 coming back. I have AI at 117. In quali the gap between me and the second was about 1s (1:04.735 for me, 1:05.7 for the second) while during the race the second was always within 1s and the third always within 1.5s. I'll try to set the AI at 120 and see what happens

Many series have not been calibrated since the last physics update. Each time anything significant happens with the car itself, the AI need to have a corresponding calibration pass to match the users. Reiza does these all the time, though, so be prepared if suddenly the F-Ultimate are more competitive!

Just noticed that there is a mini track map on garage screen.
So, just rotate the north to top and implement a wind direction indicator, that would be a nice thing
    for example:
    trackwithindicator.jpg

north on top, trackmap should be orientated:

Maybe I’m imagining it, but I feel like a weird sound has crept into the engine noise in the last update. It’s a weird kinda phasey crinkly oscillating sound. Almost like the player car and cpu car sounds are interacting with one another. It’s most audible on the Ginnetta GT4 car, but I also heard it on the MRX P2, the only two I’ve driven this eve. Maybe it’s always been there but I didn’t notice it before.

Is it when you are racing same make cars ? Have noticed similar when racing in other Sims from chase cam view and cars nearby are at the same revs .

Yep. I’ve been almost exclusively racing identical cars to the AI. Cockpit view. I use headphones. They are Beyer DT880pro’s which have a very detailed top end. As an experiment I just now installed APO equalizer and rolled a couple of dB off from 8k up and enabled Windows Spacial Audio for headphones. Oh, and I reduced the volume of the other cars from 100 to 75. This has helped tame that weirdness as it seems to be predominantly in the higher frequency sounds like the turbo/super charger which I think the brighter DT880 exaggerates.

Today I drove Monaco aka Azure Circuit for the first time in AMS2.
Took the Sprint Race car and did a 15laps quick race.
Wow that was a fun race. Track looks awesome and overtake is nearly impossible so you have to squeeze the car in every little free space to gain a place. Great job Reiza. In Pcars2 I never liked the track, this because of the AI which tent to bump you off the track in every braking zones on the track.
With AMS2 the AI is more aware of the player on the track. So thumbs up..:D

Please explain how wind is a strategic asset and how valuable knowing it it really is (since the actual effect on the car are negligible most of the time). It's not like one has to adjust their aero settings, etc... Perhaps, I'm missing something...

I'n ACC the wind is on point and can regularly blow between 30-60 kph. This can effect your top end by 10-15 km in a GT3 car. In these conditions you need to adjust your braking and also your car setups.. Wind is important in motor racing.. We should know this basic information and it should not just blow at 1-3 kph. It also has an effect on the dynamic weather and it can also have an impact on your slipstream..

More often than not we can see drivers & engineers talking about the wind during F1 races.

Wind is definitely relevant. I'm a low skilled driver, so I can't really use that information, but to deny it is important is somewhat absurd.

simple answer for simple minds: They had not enough time to finish it. Grown people know there is a difference between time schedule and real live.
Community made much pressure to release, if they hadn't and postponed another month, you would ask "why didnt you release, you promised "
Live is a compromise. Live with it :p
