Can I set the game to 25 GAIN and the driver to 100 percent? I have alpha ultimate. Overall, this is probably the best file I've found so far :D.

No, that's not a good option.In-game gain scales almost all of the FFB output. If you set this in-game gain to 25%, it will remove almost all of the FFB.This means many FFB details will no longer be noticeable, and the connection to the road and tires will be gone. The files are precisely tuned to this in-game gain so that you can feel as much FFB as possible while experiencing as little clipping as possible.Yes, in other simulations, you can almost always work with 100% gain on the base, but not in Ams2, and even less so with these custom files.Perhaps this will help you a little.

I did this because I don't like road vibrations, but I'll try again. You're doing a great job. In WRC I often reduce to 20-30 in the game and that's why I have this habit. Thank you :)

If you want less road noise, you can also reduce the in-game FX a bit. Or you can reduce the "Feedback Detail" in your Simagic base. For my Simagic Evo, I recommend 0, and I think it will work similarly for your Ultimate. This control amplifies the road noise and creates high-frequency vibrations. The file adjusts this for you.

I installed AMS2 to test this game. I was so disapointed with the FFB (defaut and defaut+) and I found this tread and the Daniel kart v7000.

I put the recommanded values for my DD base (simagic ultimate 23nm) but it s really weak. I can easily driving with two fingers . can i rise the strenght in the driver side or it will mess something else in the custom file ?

No, it won't change anything in the file. You can increase the Force Feedback power of your Ultimate base to your liking. This will only increase the pure power (Nm of your base) Increase this power at your base and find your preferred power

mate, this Custom FFB file is awesome, i love how you have been able to include a few extra effects without diluting the rack forces, its the first FFB file ive tried that reminds me of Assetto Corsa.
    thankyou so much

incase anyone is on the hunt for settings

    Logitech G27
    Gain 100

    Simagic Alpha Evo (12Nm)
Great custom file but i find to be too weak and 900° in gr3 cars are to much and the car is not listening what i want to do, so my settings:
    Gain 75
    Lfb 0
    FX 20-25
    Angle 450°
    Ffb 8Nm
    Filtr level 0
    Wheel rotation speed 50
    Feedback detail 10

    Dynamic prediction level 0
    Mechanical damper 5
    Mechanical fiction 10
Mechanical inertia 5 (10-15 is ok too)
    Slew rate 5
Other effects Spring, damper 0 the rest 100

What's the logic behind this? Since lowering the driver's max strength limits the maximum torque. In the case of the Simucube Pro (25NW), leaving it at 50% limits the maximum torque to 12.5NW.

In any case, it's always better to leave the base at 100% of its capabilities and adjust the in-game value to take advantage of the base's full range.
Reducing the driver's torque to 50% basically turns the 25NW base into a 12.5NW base, and it wouldn't make much sense.

You're saying this is because the file is tuned to work properly at 65% ingame, otherwise the scale changes. What I don't get is why the scale wouldn't be the same if you leave it at 32% ingame and 100% on the driver. On the other hand, if that's not the case, wouldn't it be better to adjust the file so it delivers its full potential at around 30% ingame for the more powerful bases, so you can actually use the whole force range of the base?

    Just change this
    Code:
    (df_compression (power (max 0 (* (/ 1 0.6) (- gain2 0.4))) 1.5))
    with this
    Code:
    (df_compression 0.27)
and use the gain as you want. It will no longer change transfer characteristics.
