Do you have an NVIDIA? Go to the control panel and change the settings, indicating a preference for performance. By default, NVIDIA prioritizes efficiency by playing with the MHz, which causes stuttering. You should ALWAYS set the maximum performance as a reference.

 

No, that's not the problem, that's just a bug (windows , driver or otherwise - it happened before with other games). When it occours (severe stutter, GPU at max frequency and power) a simple ALT-TAB to desktop and back and the problem is solved - GPU throttles efficiently, the game won't stutter.
But on W11, the ALT-TAB returns to AMS2 often with problems (no image or a "game screenshot" from the first time I when to desktop). Usually running the game again returns to where is was (it does a "graphics reset" in the process).

 

If we give Reiza some time and avoid pressurizing them for the next announcement, we could more likely get an even better and less broken surprise. Keep calm and race on!

I already used the search function but didnt really find a conclusive answer.

Are you guys aware of the audio issues as in the engine sound cutting out in cockpit view while spectating or in replay ?
Happens if you cycle through cockpit and tv cams and return to cockpit camand is highly irritating and completely removes the joy of watching for me.

Personally i mostly encounter it in the porsche cup 4.0 but i can recall having it with other classes as well sometimes.

Sounds like it would be electric rather than turbo/burner.

 

I definitely have this also. I thought it only happened in VR or to me, since it is very obvious and I didn't see any post about it (also I didn't make any)

 

RF2 is not a reference for anything, incomplete and abandoned game, totally random and inconsistent AI..

 

The tire model of RF2 is reference material.

First—I understand there is apparently a good reason and more to the story here. I know this post is not 100% serious but this is not a fair characterisation of the issue. If you're going to go silent to get on with delivering content, that's a perfectly valid decision. But that means you deliver content. Where is it? It's nearly June. It's a fair question given the things that were said in January outlining the strategy.

Nobody in their right mind would ever want to go through the 1.6 saga. That we can agree on for sure.
I for one am on AMS2 as much as I can fit in. Sadly enough though, it seems like these younger generations and how games are these days (not that this is a game), if they don't hear anything for a while, it's always "the end of the life cycle" or "the game is dead" or "are they working on AMS3".
Personally when I read this stuff I want to projectile vomit.
I'll patiently wait for what is in store next.
