I have seen various videos on Youtube (quarentinwhile ..) of various cars present in AMS2.
I know there is a driveability controversy from the Papyrus Indy 500 (yes I'm old) y I wanted to do a reality check.

Ginetta 55 and Sprint Race this post
    Sprint Race
    Brazil Stock Car 2020
    Super Clio
    Ultima Gtr
    Roco
    Metalmoro
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ginetta 55: given my inability to control the beast, I began to verify how the situation is from the real.

First there are Ginettas with the wheel on the left...
Second : It seems that it is quite wild as an experience without abs and a perpetual transmission noise, perhaps in other simulators are too polished? (ACC)

    Sprint Race.

Currently my favorite series, seems to reproduce almost all sensations perfectly (look at the bump!)

I had no idea the Sprint Race car was based on the Renault Clio.
I wonder if we get the GT one day as well. Would be cool.

Reiza certainly did this and more in the years leading up to AMD 2 ;) Even the free Copa Petrobas de Marcia's :)

Although the Super Clio Brazil category is the predecessor of the Sprint Race Brazil category, these Sprints have nothing of the Renault Clio

To be clear, Sprint Race isn't a Renault Clio

So, what is the Sprint Racer based on? Or was it developed specific for that series?

It's a purpose-built, relatively light and cheap race car with skins added. The new series has Mustang and Camaro skins! The one we have in AMS 2 is hard to identify other than the Lexus/Toyota family front end design.

Yes all reviewers and fanboys of ACC should watch the third video prior to commenting how superior the ACC car is because it is so smooth and calm and easy to drive...like a road car.

Well to be fair, the GT4 in ACC and the GT4 Supercup in AMS2 are close enough, but aren't completely the same. The Supercup has ~35 HP less for example. I'd expect a few small differences in handling as well.

    @Beccobunsen
Great info! Thank you very much!
Some adverts however, just to complete you report.

The official website is a bit (how can I say that) messy. It is ok to pick up the current data/info but very unfriendly to search the archives.
V6 Renault engines had a short life (2012/13) and were changed to some V6-270cv until these days.
Let me compliment Discord user lawgicau#2072 for his valuable quest on Spring Race specs as modded by Reiza and very useful for (RSTsoftware) telemetry.
    Wheelbase: 2.613m
    Track F/R: 1851mm-265mm = 1.586m
    Pirelli Pzero 265/645-R18

    Pirelli data sheet(*):
working press: 1.9~2.2bar (GT) and 2.0~2.5bar (Tourism)
    working temp: ideal = (?), Inner-Outer< 20ºC, skewness (Rears/Fronts) < 25ºC
    (*) Don't know how Reiza mod/sim that.

Spec info reported by the end of your post is for Sprint Race GT / 2020 (almost starting and hopefully to be added to AMS2).
A new frame, new wheel drive, new tyres and P2P.
Wheelbase has a typo and is probably 2.80m as measured on images.
Bitola means track and 1.94m is an external measurement, so track is 1.94m-.260m = 1.68m
    YOKOHAMA 260/650 R18 A005-dry or A006-wet

However, for both models, the V8 6.8 specification powered by ethanol is maintained, capable of yielding 460 hp of power and 61.2 kgfm of torque, without the override button being activated.

The transmission will be sequential and automated with a double clutch with six gears, with the changes made manually through butterflies behind the steering wheel.

Wheelbase changed from 2.80 m to 2.741 m. Change makes the car more agile in curves and less stable at high speed Stock Car Brasil / Instagram

It is curious that the Japanese participation will be in charge of Toyota Motorsport of Argentina, which should also bring drivers from the neighboring country to compete with the Brazilians.

Thanks for posting @Beccobunsen Interesting how careful Rubens is driving that Toyota around the corners. Just like in AMS 2

I second that, it's a cool thread. Like many I've enjoyed learning about new cars and tracks, particularly the Brazilian ones. This adds to that.

I have high hopes that we will get the Sprint Race GT cars. If they drive as good as the Sprint Race cars we already have......I'm sold :D
