Yeah, sorry Marc, I was confused. My issue is a little different from that.
It has been reported before by me and also @Coanda here Bug Reports - Automobilista 2 (Read the Opening Post)
In the screenshot i used the bmw m3, but this dash cam misalignment "issue" affects other cars too. A seat right / left key binding would solve the problem (or a fix by the devs)
Thanks. It isn't widespread, though. And be aware, some cars have offset steering wheels and such on purpose because so did the real ones!
I agree. But this should be fixed (especially for the cars that the misalignment is very noticeable - among them the m3)
I am a pretty picky person and generally observant person, but hadn't noticed it--though I don't drive that car too often.
Is there a list of the affected vehicles?
I cant remember the cars but have definitely notice a few cars slightly off center from my rig...and it isn't the cars with the driver purposefully sitting off at an angle.
It isn't a big off but certainly something i would prefer to be able to hit a button and move it across those few mm.
So i'm all for a seat left/right option to pop up in the seat movement options. Oh and for it to save per car also
But everything should be centred on all normal cars, so a list would be handy in the off-chance Reiza doesn't already know about them all.
Should be, but there are some cars that i need to write them down. One of them for sure is the m3 (and it is very noticeable). In other cars it is less noticeable but yes there is a slight off center. If i spot a car i will write it here
Ginetta GT4 SuperCup is the first one i've seen today being off center.
+ the Lotus 23 (1960's touring cars class)
+ v 8's supercars (super v'8 class)
Perfectly centred on my screen. ...both versions (separate Cup and GT4)
SuperV8 perfectly centred on my screen. ?!?!?!
Lotus 23--yes, is slightly offset, but since the steering wheel very obviously doesn't align with the instrumentation, pretty safe to assume this is one of the cars that is not centred in real life. If someone has photo evidence... The tach is centred as opposed to the wheel (looks like on purpose). A slightly angled steering column wouldn't surprise me on such a dinky and weird car.

BMW M3 EVO
G55 GT4 Supercup
All perfectly centered
Are y sure for the m3? Cause this is the dash cam that i have
My fault, I thought we were taking about rotation miss alignment
The car that the dash cam missalign is more obvious is the m3. In all other mentioned cars above, the issue exists, but - it s imperceptible
How can this be? Other car dash boards line up perfectly with my wheel and phone dash (using SimHub) yet this car for example the in car dash is a good 3 to 4 cm's to the right.
Are you assuming the tach is in the precise middle of the M3 dash? I wouldn't
Even if y are right, i still feel awkward behind the (virtual) dash interior of this car..
