AMS2 V1.6.8.5 Coming Tomorrow Oct 31! Pre-Release Info, Previews & Discussions

A huge majority of F1 cars in the game are done in literally the exact same way, just a generic somewhat look-alike model.

 

I'm not familiar with VRC mods but, I'm a big fan of the RSS GT ones, they are amazing indeed. Still, such examples are far from being the standard in racing titles.
Question: In your opinion, which Racing-Sim does the best job in audio?

Wow. Lotsa peoples describing their perception of sound around here. I love to wake up to the sound of the Murciélago GT1 in the morning. In AMS2. In the morning.

 

Do I need to buy these DLCs if I have bought early access version of AMS2 when it was initially released (around 100EUR version if I remember correctly) and so far received all the new DLCs?

 

I don't see the GT1 and GT2 in there. LMP's only. And when I start AMS2 none are there. Revamped icons are in the sim though. It's like the content is incomplete?

You will have to wait for the 1.6.8.5 patch before you can access the dlcs...

 

Yeah but this isn't just somewhat of a look-alike, I'd like to compare the model with the real thing side by side in different angles but they look like 98% identical.

 

I think the RSS and VRC mods in AC are the best in sim racing, by far. The only other sim that comes close for me is ACC. I haven't played LMU, so I can't comment on that one. RRRE is hit and miss. Some cars sound amazing, and others are just okay. RRRE does have really good effects thought (gravel, bottoming out, gear whine, etc.).

They are both in the Historical Endurance Pack Pt1 - You have to fold it out. They are under the pictures

But game is not updated yet, so they are not ingame

 

Purchased just need the game update to go with it, suppose now I have to go and do the washing up while I wait
