This also reminds me that at times, there's an insane difference in how a car in AMS2 sounds from the exterior and from the interior. Sounds like completely different power trains at times.

In real life, the sounds inside the car seem increasingly distant and muffled. If they were like the ones outside, it would be unrealistic and non-immersive to me.

I just wanted to ask how possible it would be to implement Quad Views rendering together with Tobii eye tracking.

I know that eye tracking is already supported in flat mode, but would it be possible to bring Quad Views into the old Madness Engine?

iRacing recently added this feature, and it gives a huge performance boost — just like in MSFS2024 and DCS.

It would be amazing if something similar could be done for AMS2!

I also noticed that with TAA now in the game, you might already have the first step toward DLAA, modern DLSS, or FSR, which is really exciting.

Thanks a lot for all your hard work and for taking VR users’ needs into account — it really means a lot to us!

On top of what others have said I do believe Le Mans 88 is in the works.

We've not even got the new content and everybody is asking for more. I can't wait to get my hands on this content tonight!

Good luck taking already T1 if you think so :D
It's quite different as mentioned already but wanted to emphasize it because that borderline unlearnable 1st corner combo surely isn't the same already, there are also various other differences.

Perfect example here is real life Valkyrie - it sounds nothing inside the cockpit like it does with its trumpeting exhaust. That's just the deal of how things go. If you find cars that have wrong engine pitch vs. outside, that's worth a report but cockpit isn't necessarily exhaust note.

The Facebook post of Reiza states major physics refinements for 1.6.8.5. Will be interesting what that exactly is and for which classes :)

Is always exiting to have new contents and thank you very very much that you are continuing to add ….the presence of Milano car can allow us to dream more modern cars of this specific brand ? Such as a modern GT3 2_6 for example..soon?

I've found while the audio files used are nicely recorded, on the interior they do sound a little dull, or maybe a bit too mellow.
I understand this is likely just down to limitations involved when recording a race car. I'm not at all laying criticism on the actual recordings or the people who recorded them.
However some of the interior sounds could do with some 'exciting' in post.

I.e. boost a couple dB around 9-12K, add a little saturation (this can be done on just the higher frequencies with a multiband saturator like fabfilter's Saturn) to sell just how LOUD it is inside the cockpit*, even with a helmet on. Then a second mild eq to cut any particularly harsh frequencies introduced with the saturation, and finally a compression pass to help smooth it all out.

*When we experience loud sounds, our bodies have a biological reflex to prevent hearing damage that, without going into unnecessary detail, causes loud sounds to become slightly distorted and compressed before they're received by the brain.

When I have some time I can provide examples of how these changes might sound compared to how it is currently.

Take this with a grain of salt (or a bucket full) since this is just my personal view as a fellow player, but I wouldn't get my hopes up yet. Logic says that the reason the Milano was invented in the first place was out of necessity to give the 996 a competitor in it's class - specifically, one resembling it's real-life main competitor.

With that being said, I know that Reiza are nothing if not passionate about racing and cars. And you can't say "passion" in this context and not think of Ferrari. And I say that as someone who always tries to convince himself he's not a Ferrari fan... Which only works until I see, hear and feel one driving down the road, tearing the tarmac apart in its wake... all while going at low speed, no less. After picking my jaw off the floor I usually have to do some soul-searching and question my previously held convictions with regards to that manufacturer... But I digress.

Knowing Reiza's ambition I'm sure they haven't given up on the prancing horse license yet. If I had to make a guess, I'd say they want to give it at least one more shot in the future. And unless that doesn't work out we're unlikely to see any more Milanos in the near future in order not to upset anyone in Maranello.

But hey - I would be more than happy to be wrong about this. There's probably at least one Milano each that I could think of to add to maybe half of all car classes in the sim... :D
