Happy release day guys. This was a sad read however, I think I speak for the majority here when I say that every devblog has always been clear, full of good information, well redacted and not received as propaganda. Damn I even read some blogs from past years even though I started playing around a year ago, just because it is full of very interesting information about how the game work. People was demanding some sort of declaration when dates were not met, but the quality of the information we were getting has always been exquisite. I understand that the project has evolved much beyond what once was, and the same way of communication might not be feasible anymore, for which I am sad and happy at the same time, since this means this project is being successful a growing. This is simply my favorite simulation out there, having tried all the other "important" ones, and I wish it success, so more people can enjoy it, the project can further evolve, and this group of people can further work in their passion and bring us this magnificent product.

I am happy the company is able to keep its philosophy and principles, without the business people and investors getting in the way. Not many gaming companies can survive in today's competitive gaming industry by themselves, and the few exceptions that do, offer high-quality-full-of-passion products, such as Reiza or Larian Studios, to name other example. Gamers have seen wonderful companies being corrupted to hell due to the pressure of investors, releasing each time lower quality products and using more aggressive marketing tactics, and we all know many many examples of this. I hope we can still enjoy Reiza's passion for many more years to come.

 

Waiting for update to load. AMS2 on LFM is already up, can't wait to try it out!

GT1 at Spa '93. Can it get any better for the first race?

 

Really annoyed the price of the DLC pack bundle increased after the new dlc came out today.

The DLC bundle was £63 on steam sale today, I was going to purchase it, but an hour later the new pack came out it is now £74.98 on the steam sale, even though the bundle said all future dlc was included at the original price.

Will not bother buying it now, strange the bundle was hiked up in price as soon as the new dlc released. Meanwhile the other dlc bundle for season pass owners actually got cheaper!??

Annoyed but I'll spend the money elsewhere

 

Yeah, Renato, your number one job is chief game developer. You tried to do more than a solid by keeping us better informed, though this was not something absolutely necessary. Some turned that wonderful gesture into a negative. I don't blame you for being very upset about that. I will miss the updates, but I'll understand their absence.

Meanwhile, thank you for your passion. At least one thing in this world is proceeding excellently!

 

I've just noticed that only the IMSA Track Pack made it to the "All-Inclusive Bundle for SP Owners", both new car packs were added to "All-Inclusive Bundle" only. Hopefully it's on the radar and will get fixed soon and allows more people to jump in.

The DLC bundle is just a package that merge some DLCs together for a discount. Let's say the package bring a 10% discount out of a value of 100€ in DLCs (fake numbers I know), your discount is 10€ => price 90€. If this package is now larger (meaning it contains more DLCs!) and comprises a total of 120€ of DLCs, keeping the same 10% discount is 12€ discount => price 108€. The discount is still the same but the overall price is higher since more stuff is included in the package. It is your choice whether the whole package makes sense for you or you'd rather pick individually which DLCs you want. If you do the later and in the future wish to buy the package, the price of the DLCs you already own is subtracted from the package price, and you only pay the difference, keeping whatever discount is applied to the whole package as partial for the DLCs you are actually buying. Also if you buy the package and more stuff is aggregated to said package afterwards, you can "buy again" the package, but you logically only pay for the products you don't have keeping the same discount as the whole package offers.

ps you should not apologise for your communication there are much bigger studios that say nothing to their playerbase. I feel you guys do more than the average. But it’s sad the minority has pushed you into this change. Dam internet!

 

Simply Thank You Renato & Reiza, I've been around most of those 11 years and thoroughly enjoyed seeing you guys progress each and every update. I'm sure v1.6 will be testament to your further progression in creating this peice of Art, because that's what it is and you should all be very proud of what you've accomplished.

I'm so sorry about all the miserable malcontents who just want to ruin everything for everyone. It's a great idea to not do the dev updates just like it was a great idea to not do season passes. I wish I could say don't listen to the haters but it's really difficult when their cynicism and negativity poisons everything, right? What should be a a great day of celebration and positivity is instead marred by being on the defensive for following through with the promise to release the update only as perfect as it could be, and being enthusiastic about sharing the positive developments.
